Captain Dave was very friendly & quick to answer questions. He & the guide made it a point to engage our 8 year old grandson, who said the trip was "so cool!" It was a miserable day weather-wise, but we still saw quite a few eagles & enjoyed the trip.

We had an amazing time with Capt Dave. He knew what level of river experience we had and respected it, we felt safe and secure during our float trip. His historical knowledge of the Skagit River area is unmatched! Growing up in the area really gives him an advantage of deep storytelling and the awareness of the nature around us. We can’t wait to go again!

It was so peaceful. Donovan was knowledgeable and told some jokes! We didn’t see a lot of eagles so Captain Dave gave up a free ticket to come back in December.

We had a great time! Dave was great, and our guide was excellent, too. You might inform future travelers that they should meet you on the East side of highway 530 at the bridge, across from the State park. (We had a little trouble finding you!) Thanks for a great trip! John and Jan

Fewer eagles than expected, but we talked about this due to too few salmon :)
