We were told the tour would last 2-2 1/2 hours and it was over 3 hours long and still not close to being over. We are locals and our children were with a babysitter. We had to get back to our children and since the tour guide was way off with the ending time, we had to miss the last few stops on the tour. Too bad, as this tour has the potential to be really educational and fun.

It wasn't what I expected from the explanations on the internet. If you want to sit on a bus for 2 1/2 hours and listen to a video about the Civil War only in Pensacola then this tour is for you. According to the information we were supposed to get off the bus several times but we were only allowed off for 20 min. to go up in the light house and tour the old house there. If you were from Pensacola this would probably be an interesting tour.

The tour was very informative and comfortable. An quaint old bus, but with AC. There was lots of information provided via an audio-visual presentation, with much of the tour taking place on the NAS base. Very interesting, and fun to be a tourist in your own town. We look forward to a few more of these in the future!
