Marlin Benedict showed us a great time fishing for halibut and salmon. He is hard-working and diligent. He made sure everyone had fun, including two children (ages 12 and 13). Highly recommended.

We scheduled a three day adventure with John and was not disappointed. This charter is a professional company that knows their stuff, respects the sea, and is super fun. I would recommend a 3 day trip in case of a day of bad weather or slow fishing. We were lucky enough to have hit the weather just right. The Timber Wolf was a very comfortable boat for our group of 4. They clean and package your fish onsite. When you fly back home, simply check your fish boxes like checked luggage for an affordable way to bring your catch homecto share with others!

John and his staff are highly professional and fun. Our fishing adventure was amazing and I would strongly recommend this charter. Wrangell’s fishing was fabulous and we would suggest saving a little time to visit Anan to view the bears. We are from MT and know the wilderness. Alaska takes wilderness to a whole another level.

Amazing trip with our family to Wrangell. So many memories for my husband’s 50th birthday trip! Tons of pics, sea legs and sore arms from our adventure. Great friends and an awesome guide made this trip a keeper! Lots of fish and three perfect days of weather. A side trip to Anan to see the bears is worth it. Thanks John!

Even though we didn’t catch any fish, it wasn’t for lack of trying. We did have a successful crab pot haul. John was very helpful and his boat very comfortable. We enjoyed the experience very much.
