This was an awesome experience! It was just my family- my husband and i with two teenagers surfing and grandparents were set up on the beach in some shade to enjoy the show. This was the perfect cruise excursion. We had great instruction and they made sure that we were all successful and let us surf till our bodies were too exhausted. After we ate amazing ceviche at the restaurant and could enjoy the beach. Highly recommended. Worth every penny

Nacho and his assistants were great! None of us had ever surfed before and by the end of our lesson, all of us were riding waves. Thanks for an amazing experience!

This was exactly what I was looking for. I did not want to do a typical resorts but rather see the real Cozumel with real surfers. This proved to be that. I had done a lesson once in Hawaii but was not on a proper board and not the same personal attention. Nacho and Caleb were out there with me pointing out all the key items to watch for and great feedback on what I could improve on. It felt really great to catch some Waves and turn the board with me controlling it. Again, exactly what I was hoping for. I hope to be back and do this again with them.

Nacho helped make one of the best days of my life. I don't like big crowds and with multiple cruise ships in port I was so happy to get out of town and ride to the other side of the island in his surf mobile, a neon lime green Volkswagen bug with the back half of the roof chopped off and a cow skull on top with surf racks. His surf shop is a lockable alcove with in a sand floor restaurant right on the beach. The restaurant has the most fabulous ceviche in the world and strolling Mariachis plus there is a fabulous masseuse working right there on the beach. Nacho was very accommodating and I was able to get a massage. When we first arrived the waves were not surfable and so we tried the stand up paddle boards first then the surf came up. Nacho went back and got me a fiberglass 10 ft board which I was used to and it's not a very long ride there but with him pushing I was able to go at least 20 yards over and over again as long as I wanted. Don't tell anyone else on your cruise ship about how wonderful this surf lesson experience can be and you can have the whole Beach to yourself.

Awesome experience. Nacho cannot be mistaken when he drives up in his "surfer dude" Volkswagen Safari. Multi colored with bull horns on top. Priceless. I got a round-a-bout tour of the "real" Cozumel which was much appreciated. Seems like he knew everyone and everyone knew him. The surf shop and beach is on the other side of the island. The beach was like a post card. The water looked fake (meaning it was picture perfect) and the weather sunny and hot. Nacho is very cool and patient. We went out into the water after some quick lessons on the beach, and WOW! The water was salty! Didn't expect it to be that way. Anyhow, after some struggling to get my form down (when Nacho says bend at the knee, that's exactly what he means) I was surfing. For the first time in my 53 years. I absolutely had a stellar experience. Nacho gave the very basic instructions to get up and surfing, and that's all it took. I'm extremely satisfied with the money I shelled out. If you go, take money for a souvenir or two. I have his handmade Robinson Caruso hat on my wall at home :)
