Kittitian Pride Tour with Beach
The Kittitian Pride Tour with Beach extends the Kittitian Pride Tour with a trip to some of the more scenic and picturesque beaches of St. Kitts: Shipwreck, Reggae Beach, and Cockle Shell Beach.
Your group will be met at Port Zante‘s cruise ship berth promptly at 9:00 am by our friendly taxi operator who will be quite eager to show you beautiful St. Kitts.
The first stop is historic Basseterre, which has the unique distinction of being the first French Capital in the Western Hemisphere. One of the main points of interest, and arguably the most photographed structure in Basseterre, is the Berkeley Memorial Clock; an ornate green and bronze four-faced clock tower. This structure is the focal point of The Circus, a quaint roundabout modeled after Piccadilly Circus in London. As you tour the island’s capital you will see numerous examples of both French and British architectural influence competing for your attention.
The tour will then move westward to Bloody Point in the village of Challengers, a sacred place to the people of Carib origin. The tour continues on to Caribelle Batik at Romney Manor in the town of Old Road. The sheer beauty of this popular wedding spot will take your breath away. While there you will have the opportunity to purchase gifts from the wide array of unique batik items for sale.
The tour then continues to Timothy Hill in the resort area of Frigate Bay and then onwards towards Shipwreck, Carambola Beach, and South Friar’s Beach where adventure is yours for the taking.

City of Basseterre with Cockleshell/Reggae Beach
The Caribbean is blessed with countless beaches and St. Kitts is home to some of the most beautiful ones. While in port we recommend you visit some of these gems. They begin with a short drive through the capital city, Basseterre, and then onwards towards your chosen beach.
The City/Ocean Beach Splash Snorkel and South Friars Beach Tour presents a particularly exciting journey adventure. On this unique tour of St. Kitts you will:
Take a drive through the capital city of Basseterre.
View old churches, West Indian cottages, traditional French architecture and Victorian structures.
As you leave Basseterre, pass the Cenotaph and look across the Caribbean Sea for views of Nevis on a clear day.
Drive past the Governor’s Residence.
Enroute to the international highway where one can view government places like airport, sugar factory, electricity department etc.
We continue with a stop on the Timothy Hill in the resort area of Frigate Bay. There you will be graced with sweeping views of the eastern coast, where the tumultuous Atlantic Ocean meets with the calm Caribbean Sea. This tour will not only give you an inkling of why this remarkable island was so precious to both the British and the French, but it will also help you understand why Kittitians are so proud of St. Kitts.
The last stop at Cockleshell (Reggae beach) where you can snorkel, enjoy water sports, and sample tasty local cuisine from any of the bars or restaurants that line the beach. After the meal perhaps you may want to simply sit and enjoy the spectacular view of our sister island Nevis.

Heritage Adventure Tour with Beach
The ‘Heritage Adventure with Beach’ extends the Heritage Adventure Tour with a trip to some of the more scenic and picturesque beaches of St. Kitts. Your tour will depart from Port Zante, cruise through historic Basseterre before heading off to Caribelle Batik, Romney Manor in Old Road Town. Romney manor boasts impressive historical relationships.
Once owned by Samuel Jefferson II, the great great great grandfather of Thomas Jefferson (3rd President of U.S.A.). Prior to this ownership, there is strong evidence that it was originally the site on which Tegereman, the Carib Indian Chief, had his village. There is much to take in before indulging in shopping for Batik wear at Caribelle Batik. The tour continues along the island’s main road to Bloody Point in the village of Challengers. Here the Caribs consider sacred spiritually. Your driver will tell you why.
The final stop on the Heritage Adventure is known as the ‘Gibraltar of the West Indies’. Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site of historical, cultural and architectural significance: a monument to the ingenuity of the British military engineers who designed it and to the skill, strength and endurance of the African slaves who built and maintained it.
Activity level: effortless or if you choose to climb the sturdy stairs to get to the Museum, it’s a slight challenge. You can stop, catch your breath and take in the beautiful views.
At the end of the tour, you are returned to Port Zante to board your ship.
