Great Way to Visit Xcaret Park - A Truly Remarkable Theme Park - Wow - what a super cool experience. Xcaret Park is a really cool theme park - part zoo, part cultural center, and part ocean and beach experience. All aspects of the park were top notch. First off, the tour provides you transportation to the park, entry tickets, a buffet lunch at one of the many restaurants (note - some restaurants are off limits for the buffet lunch), snorkel gear, and admission to the evening show. The zoological aspect of the park was great providing insight into the indigenous wildlife of the Yucatan Peninsula, greater Mexico and Central America. The aviary is super as is the butterfly enclosure. Coatis roam the park and we saw an agouti in the wild as well. We petted a tapir and witnessed two majestic jaguars in their enclosure. Xcaret has numerous archaeological sites scattered throughout the park we enjoyed. The buffet lunch was excellent (we ate at the Oaxaca-themed restaurant). The walkways are indicated by colored pavement - the black line runs through the center of the park and connects to offshoot paths of differing pavement color so it's easy to navigate the park and see the entire park. The beach was beautiful although we did not swim and snorkel (too much to see elsewhere in the park!). We visited the equestrian center and it was a lot of fun watching the caballeros ride horses in the arena. Finally, the night show was excellent. It presented a vivid portrayal of the history of Mexico - from the Mayan culture to today's vibrant Mexican culture. The actors, the dancers, the singers and musicians, and the equestrians were all uniformly excellent - I was really impressed by the show and professional polish of the entire presentation. Please note that this is an all day tour - we were picked up from the hotel at 8:30 in the morning and were dropped off back to the hotel at 11:15 pm so be prepared for a full day. I can really recommend this tour - the Xcaret Park is an experience that should not be missed if you travel to the Yucatan Pennisula.

The Best Holidays - I booked this tour for my family, and highly recommend it. It's a pride Xcaret, the park, all the attractions, its signature restaurant, what we liked the most was the show from Mexico and swimming with dolphins, which has an extra cost but worth it. The Tour Service was punctual and I was invited back.

Easy to book/Best Prices - Best prices around and everything was seamless. Better than my resort. Transportation showed up at our resort. Would definitely use again.

Good trip, just too long of a Day! - It was way tooooo long of a day. We were dropped off at 9am and pick up was not until 9:30pm. I tried to ask for an earlier pick up and no help was offered or given. I had to then find a separate transportation company and pay and extra $80 to get us home earlier. There should have been some level of accommodation especially traveling with 2 kids that definitely couldn't make it until 9:30pm.

Disappointed—changed pick-up location to a place across town - We are so disappointed. We booked this excursion and looked forward to a full day of fun. We paid for the excursion so we wouldn’t have to worry about logistics, like finding our way to the location. However, after we booked the experience with a pick up and drop off three blocks from our hotel, the meeting place was switched to a location over a mile and a half away, meaning we would need to taxi to the pick up point and back home. This did not seem like a good or safe option, especially returning so late at night. It feels like a bait and switch.

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Service - Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Service I booked an excursion to Xcaret through this company via Viator, and it turned out to be one of the worst travel service experiences I have ever had. • Pickup Issues: The driver arrived over one hour late for the morning pickup, immediately cutting into our day and causing unnecessary stress. • No Driver Contact Information: We were never given any direct contact information for our driver, making it impossible to coordinate when delays occurred. • Return Trip Failure: At the end of the day, we were stranded despite being on time and exactly where we were told to meet. The company ignored all of our calls and messages while we were waiting. No one made any effort to locate us or resolve the situation. • Minimal Service Provided: The only actual service provided was purchasing our Xcaret tickets online — something we could have easily done ourselves. • Nonexistent Customer Support: Viator’s “support” was equally useless. When contacted, they simply told us to “call the operator” — which we had already done repeatedly without success. They made no effort to intervene or help, yet still collected their commission for doing nothing. • Lack of Accountability: Both the tour operator and Viator failed to meet the most basic standards of service. We followed all instructions and were punctual for both pickups, yet received no transportation back and no meaningful assistance from anyone involved. This was a complete failure of service and a breach of trust. For the price paid, the experience was unacceptable, and I will be pursuing a refund through my payment provider. Recommendation: Avoid this company entirely and book directly with the attraction or through a reputable operator. Viator, in this case, acted as nothing more than a commission-taking middleman without providing any real customer support.
