Musher was great and time with the dogs was great. Don't think the ride was anywhere near an hour. Would have liked a much longer ride. I think maybe the time feeding the dogs at the end was included in the hour. Needed more time in the sled.

My musher was very knowledgeable about dog-sledding; she answered all of my many questions. And she managed the quite rambunctious dogs very skillfully. It was a beautiful ride through the forest.

The entire dog sled experience was wonderful! The meeting spot was easy to find, the staff were all welcoming and friendly, and the instructions were clear. Plus, we got to meet most of the dogs (which delighted us both)!
Being in the sled was exciting and so much fun and our sled driver/musher was happy to answer all my questions about the dogs and sled racing. (I'm sorry that I forgot her name.)
After prying me out of the sled, we were able to feed snacks to some of the dogs, which is always enjoyable. Who doesn't like to feed animals?
The only difficulty part was getting me out of the sled afterwards. I am not a small person by any definition, not young, and I recently had a knee replacement, so I had quite a time levering myself out. (It probably would have taken three people to haul me up.) But eventually I was standing again, so it all worked out fine with only a little fuss. We can't wait to do it again next season.

The ride/orientation is advertised as approximately 1 hour and we were done in 40 minutes so we were a little disappointed with the short duration. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience!!
