Our 2 hr lesson yesterday, 9/2/17, with Brian W. was awesome! He taught us new things from the moment we got there to the minute we left. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and gave the group opportunities to ask additional questions. I never once felt insecure on the water while learning the best way to paddle w/o over exerting my arms. My husband learned at least 5 new tips that he hadn't known about. We also appreciated how welcoming the entire staff is - it's obvious everyone loves their job! We will definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kayak Chicago!

Bubba was great. He was engaging and approachable—he took time to engage with each of the members of the group individually and put everyone's questions and concerns into context. He offered multiple opportunities for members of the group to ask questions and raise concerns. Overall he made our group have a fun and enjoyable day on the river. My only issue with the day was with the woman at the check in counter. Upon arriving in the office she was on the phone and I had to wait a few minutes to speak with her. Once she put the person on the phone on hold, she looked directly beyond me and asked two other kayakers if they needed help, even though I was there before they were and I was standing right in front of her. The other kayakers noticed and allowed me to speak, but it was a disrespectful and unpleasant way to engage with a first time customer. Not only that, she was eating an onion bagel and the entire office smelled like onions.
