Exceeded all expectations - We both had never been fly fishing before and thought this would be the perfect way to learn! Let me tell you Fly Fishing was the highlight of our trip! We did the 4 hour wade trip and it was so dang fun and we caught so many fish! Boston was an amazing instructor, so patient, kind and informative! We truly learned so much and walked away with the skills to get by at home with a new hobby! Boston truly made our experience amazing I would highly recommend not only the Wade tour but Boston as your guide!

Must Do Jackson Activity! - This was a highlight of my seven day honeymoon trip and an absolute must do activity, Boston was a great teacher and had us catching fish w/in in the first half hour of being in the water!

Awesome Fly Fishing! - Our first time to Jackson Hole, so we wanted to try fly fishing. Having never done it before, we needed a guide to show us how and where to fish. Boston with The Wandering Angler "hooked" us up! With 0 experience, Boston taught us well and had us on fish fast!!! Thank you so much for the experience!!!

Perfect day on the Snake River - Did the half day walk and wade four of us with Boston and McKenzie. Great day they showed us proper fly fishing techniques and put us on lots of fish. We all caught some and the Teton mountain range in background made for an unforgettable day. Highly recommend getting Boston or McKenzie as your guide.

Amazing Fly Fishing on the Snake River - What an epic fly fishing walk and wade with Boston. He was the man! Boston had everything ready to go for our half day walk and wade. He was also very communicative with us prior to our meeting time. It was my wife's first time fly fishing and she LOVED it! We met at the Moose Boat Ramp on the Snake River near Wilson, WY, fifteen minutes from downtown Jackson. We both caught Rocky Mountain White fish and they put up a good fight. Boston handled everything and he taught us some very meaningful tricks and tips! A phenomenal experience overall! I HIGHLY recommend trying fly fishing with The Wandering Angler team and even ask for Boston to be your tour guide.

Highlight of our trip! - Highlight of our trip!!! This was our third trip to the greater Jackson Hole/Teton area and wanted to do something different as our youngest was 10years old and was old enough to go fly fishing. I called a number of fishing companies but felt most comfortable with Wandering Angler and so glad we booked with them because it was an absolutely incredible experience! We opted to do the walk and wade 4 hour tour. Our guides, Will & Boston, were so patient and encouraging as we learned the technique of fly fishing. My only regret is not doing the full day. It was such fabulous experience, we were bummed when it was over. Will definitely book again with Wandering Angler next time we visit.

Never ever been fly fishing - We had the best time with Jeff! He is so knowledgeable about not just fishing, but everything about how the fish feed, move, and react to different types of lures and why! The science is so k treating…and Jeff definitely knows what he is talking about. He was extremely patient with us. He took the time to not only each us about the different types of lures but also the different techniques of fly fishing. We had the best time and enjoyed getting to know him and about the sport!
