After reading the reviews, it seems others have had similar challenges. My sole reason for signing up for this class was to live shoot. Several outdoor ranges were open this weekend. It was a disappointment to make the drive and find out after 3 hours that ranges were not open. In the long run, you will end up losing more customers. I bought a shotgun and A/R that I need training for. I will not be coming back for that. In addition, my wife, brother, and 2 friends are also new to guns. All are looking for good classes. The fact that a disclaimer that "ranges may not be open" means it will be hard to recommend this range.

The amount of add-on expenses makes this class untenable. We paid $182 per person plus ammo, which for some reason was $20 a box when the most expensive box I could find online was $12.95. Add on top of all of that the expense of the range. The most informative portion of the class was the video, which we all could have watched ourselves. The range was all the way in Santa Clara. I would have appreciated knowing that the range wasn't down the street and was 30 - 40 min away from the class. We could have met the instructor there. No significant feedback to improve shooting

The course was much less formal than I expected. Quite honestly I think I could have gotten better info or feedback by renting a gun and going to the range on my own.
