We had 6 people in our party and the vehicle would not fit in the garage on the website which had a very low 6' limit. We parked at the Watergate Hotel Valet for only $12 which was amazing! I left my sunglasses in the car and was very kindly offered both a bottle of water and sunglasses from the lost & found bin. All good up to that point. A few of us had ridden Segways before and taken tours and of course the others picked it up quite easily. The tour guide, Christina, is a history major and history is full of fun and interesting stories. She told one of Winston Churchill running around the White House naked resulting in the purchase of the Blair House but that was about the only story. Three people in the group asked her to tell more but she pretty much just says what the Memorial or Monument is and the date. When I told her some stories along the way, she was familiar but did not want to share them. She said she did not like the walkie talkies. We passed parks and statues with no narration given. Haven taken these tours before (including DC) I can say that this was the least interesting presentation I have been on. In her defense, the other tours had head sets with mics for the leader and just headphones for the riders. That would be easier than walkie talkies. We all enjoyed the Segways and on discussing the day, all agreed that much more narration would be appreciated.

My 10AM tour was cancelled at 7:30AM the same morning not giving me time to book another tour. Now it's been two days and I still have not had the fee that I paid by credit card refunded in my account. I sent and email and left a voicemail but no one has returned my communication.
