Casa Cenote First Time Dive - Overall great diving experience! Johannes was very knowledgable about the area and instructing us how to dive. He went through all the safety checks in front of us and showed us how to use the equipment throughly. Since the ocean was closed for diving, we did two dives in Casa Cenote: one being a practice dive with three activities to do underwater and the other where we went further down the river and explored caverns. We saw a lot of fish species, crabs, and the resident crocodile. As a first time diver, I felt very safe and confident the entire time and would definitely have Johannes as a tour guide again!

Very well taken care of, start to finish. - Due to time of year, I had the good fortune of being the only person on the tour. This outfit is not fancy but they took care of me start to finish, including pick up and drop off. The scuba instruction was very deliberate and very good -- loved the enthusiasm -- even across my language barrier. Very patient with me in the water, too. (No language barrier there.) They even made a change to the tour just for me (easy with a group of one ... but still they were under no obligation to do so).

paco coolest guy in tulum - this was a memorable experience. from the beginning to the end we were a little nervous since we had not diving experience but Paco took great care of us. it did not take too long from the time we arrived to the time we were on the way to the cenote (15 min top), once we arrived to the cenote we tested the water and had a little run through the map. Paco instructed us on all the signals, the equipment and any risky situations that we could face. unfortunately my partner got very nervous once we got in the water and decided not to do the dive, instead she followed us snorkeling. on the second dive I had to stop the dive. the day of my flight to tulum I had a horrible inflammation of my ears while landing and never went away, this made the dive very painful since as you go down in the dive you have to release pressure through you ears but I could not to this since the ear inflammation I had. I went through it the first dive even tho it was very painful but I really wanted to experience this. overall we couldn't really do the dive how its meant to but we had a lot of fun and a great experience and it was all thanks to our instructor Paco, what an amazing guy really the best part of my whole trip to tulum was meeting Paco, he even invited me to his house and go fishing with him. he was the whole tulum experienced coolest guy out there I 100% recommend the experience with this guy. we also saw a crocodile during the dive which was awesome. so if you thinking of doing this don't think twice and go out there and have an amazing time

Fun and varied diving experience - This was a fun trip. Paco was a great dive guide. He took care to make sure we were safe and understood the local rules, and was very attentive throughout the dives. The cenote dive was a new experience for me and well worthwhile. The resident crocodile also a new one on me.... Paco pointed out everything of interest along the way, much of which I would have missed without his excellent local experience.

Awesome Experience! - Pako was a great guide. He brought extra equipment just in case we needed. And he gave a great refresher on our skills which we needed. Underwater, the experience was terrific. We did two cenote dives, one with cave exploring.

Scuba Diving in Tulum - My fiancé and I booked this dive as we were interested in getting our certification. I thought this was a great first dive to “test the waters first” before committing. It’s was a really cool experience to be able to dive in the cenote and then the open water to see the reefs. Paco and Carlos were great and personable. We had another couple in our group plus the instructor which made it 5 people. A nice small size. The disadvantage was that we were all at different levels so we did spend a lot of time trouble shooting in the cenote entrance, not being able to see the cenote or the crocodile!! Meeting point was in Tulum, which was great for us as it was close to where we were staying. We had brought some of our own gear (mask, wetsuit and fin) but my mask and fin weren’t the best for these conditions. They do provide all of the gear, we brought what we had from home as we already had them and are comfortable with them. Remember to bring your own towel, and some water. I brought a water proof case (the kind with the lanyard style, and soft plastic cell phone cover) but the waters weren’t clear enough to take underwater photos. We went in December 2023. Paco’s a great instructor and taught us step by step with what to do and once we were in the water, he made sure everyone was comfortable before moving forward.
