Great tour of city and quality food! Watch for closing times. - We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour. The fact that it was self-guided was what enticed me in the first place, in that you can go at your own pace. However, READ all the information about the stops AHEAD of starting. Depending on your start time, you may not want to dawdle too much, as a couple of the stops have closing times noted. We were very fortunate that the Chocoholic owner was so sweet to let us come in 5 min before closing, and stayed longer in order for us to enjoy his chocolates ... one of the highlights! But sadly we missed the Markthal greek pie. The quality of each food stop was excellent! I would never have known about the "kipsalon" without this tour ... the dish at Boca's. Was even considering going back the next day to grab one before getting on our cruise. Alas, no time. We enjoyed the fact that smaller 'entrepreneurial' stops were used for the tour. It was a very inciteful tour. But be prepared with good walking shoes.

Absolutely brilliant!!!! - This tour was absolutely brilliant and I cannot recommend it highly enough!!! The communication from Ariane beforehand was fantastic, our bikes were ready early and we were allowed to keep them all day, so we could take as long as we wanted on the tour. Every food stop was unbelievable. It was so lovely to meet all the owners, who were all so lovely and welcoming...as for the food...absolutely delicious... and unique! It was great being self guided as we had all the information we needed on our phone, but could take it at our own pace. We feel we saw so much of Rotterdam, including places we never would have seen on any other tour or activity. If you are going to do anything in Rotterdam, I would say this tour is an absolute must! A lovely afternoon with a friendly and knowledgeable guide - We were a group of work friends, and took part in a food tour led by Madeline. Madeline was very friendly and knowledgeable and her enthusiasm for the city was clear. She made sure we could ask her questions as we walked around the city, and we had some lovely chats at the food stops. RE the food - the portions weren't too large, which meant there was room for them all as we explored the city. The food was all delicious. All in all we had a really nice afternoon - thanks for having us!
