Josh was the BEST tour guide I've ever had. We saw an abundance of animals on our tour including multiple dolphins, herons, pelicans, turtles, stingrays, sharks, and more. The dolphins followed the boat for nearly a half hour jumping in and out of the wake just a couple feet from the boat. Josh answered any question we threw at him while he effortlessly schooled us on the history, geography, and culture of the Everglades. He seemed to have a story to illustrate every point he made and we were never bored on the four hour tour. That said, he never bogged us down with info either but kept us interested while pointing out wildlife we would have otherwise missed. We stopped on one of the outlying keys and he let us out of the boat to explore the beach and the whole island. Not only did Josh grow up in the Everglades, he went to school and got a degree in Biology (?) to supplement his already extensive knowledge of the area. When he told us that no one knows more about the 10,000 islands area of the Everglades, there was no reason to question his claim. He can speak intelligently on nearly any subject ranging from orchids to alligators, natives populations to wetland conservation. He really impressed us with his almost encyclopedic knowledge of his backyard- the Everglades. Anyone wanting a tour that goes beyond the scope of the typical fan boat tour should take this tour from Josh. This guy knows his stuff and you will too by the time the tour is over. I truly believe we got one of the best Everglades experiences available, and all while relaxing on his boat with a sun shade and comfy seats. I can't recommend Josh enough. This tour is your best bet to see the truly stunning array of life offered by the Everglades. Highly recommended.
