The meeting time was at 2pm at Victoria Station. I was there on time and so was everyone else. There was only one lady who was there to meet everyone. She didn't know when the bus would come. We ended up waiting for almost 2 hours for the bus to come pick us up for the trip. All the lady could say is that it was coming. There was no announcement whatsoever if the bus would be delayed or if the trip was happening. People just ended up waiting. A few people even asked if it's a legit tour. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this trip. There was no customer service, proper communication, and no one set any expectations. When I got to the Stonehenge site, I expected a tour. I expected someone from the company to guide us or at least be with the group. Instead, the driver just dropped us off there and told us to meet him back in the parking lot once we were done. I didn't know that this was just a shuttle service.

Once at Stonehenge, our bus driver was VERY specific about everyone being back at the bus by 17:45...or he would leave us. Well, while we were exploring the stones, our driver left us to go to another bus that was having some type of difficulty. No one told any of us this, so we were all waiting by the buses by 17:40. FINALLY, about 18:05, a person from the gift shop came and told us why we were delayed. Many people were very disappointed because they rushed back to the bus to be there at the original time the driver told us so they didn't spend the time they wanted inside the building. Our bus FINALLY arrived about 18:20. Our driver never once apologized for the delay.

Our trip was made memorable by our driver/guide, Manuel (from Brazil). He was friendly, helpful, and very informed -- and very very funny. He gave us almost a guided tour of parts of London on our way in and out of the city, in addition to Stonehenge itself. Would have liked at least another half hour or hour at Stonehenge itself, as there was barely time to tram to the sight, give the audio tour attention, tram back, and then try to see the new Visitor Center exhibition at all (let alone the gift shop). Nonetheless, would recommend to anyone. One other point: in your instructions to "sign in at least 15 minutes before the tour," please clarify that this means with the tour rep, not that one should stand in line at the ticket counter which is back by gate 21. No one knew what to do once they arrived at Victoria Coach Station. Also, you might add that food and drink (other than water?) not allowed on the coach, as my husband and I nearly brought lunch on board and were very glad we didn't try. Thank you!
