CHECK IN 45 MINUTES PRIOR.......Please park on the right side of the large gravel parking lot and meet us in our shop at check in time, which is easily identifiable by the flags out front. From here, we will walk together about 200 yards to our vessel for takeoff.

Awesome experience!!! - First time whale watching for me my wife and daughter. We saw at least 6 whales today. Even got to hear them singing from the boat. Ryan and Cannon were our guides and they said that was a first for them and were very excited about hearing that. They did an amazing job putting us on the whales at the end of the season. Highly recommend going on this tour.

There be whales! - Captain Andrew and Matt - wow - what a team! They kept us safe, hydrated, entertained, and informed on all kinds of crazy info on whales around Kauai and the world. Admittedly, its a bit late in the season for a lot of whale activity but the guys kept at it until we had encounters. Lots of spouts & tails and a full body breach. Saw small groups of mommas, babies, and companions. IYKYK.
Thanks for a lovely afternoon in a great boat!

Up close with the whales & dolphins - We absolutely enjoyed the whole experience of getting a chance to be up close with the whales and playful dolphins! We were scared of getting sea sick but none of that happened. The captain of the raft and his assistant were so gracious to help the tourists. Hearing about the lives of these creatures, whales and dolphins was amazing! The 2hours we spent was worth it!

A MUST FOR WHALE SIGHTING 🐳🐳 - We met in the morning and Captain Andrew was a funny relaxed guy greeting each one of us. The boat had comfortable seats with plenty of drinks and snacks. Everyone was hoping to see whales and WOW did we see whales 🐳 I’m thinking we saw 8-10 different whale sightings throughout our tour. Our boat was quick enough to get over to see them as well. All in all it was amazing and such a great experience!! This tour is a must!!

Experience of a lifetime! - Nono and Kenna took us out to find the whales, and they were experienced, kind, fun, and found us a pod of at least 6 whales together. We spent very careful time around them and three even swam under our boat! It was the experience of a lifetime, and these kids truly helped us find just that. They were also very respectful of the whales, and we even pulled a loose fishing trap out of the water when we saw it floating by. This company does it perfectly.

amazing two hours - Fantastic. We only had glimpses of whales but saw a playful, entertaining pop of spinner dolphins. Capt Andrew and Matt were great.

Whale watching - Matt and Andrew were awesome! Only one whale sighting but a whole pod of spinner dolphins! It was a great adventure with lots of bouncing over the waves and ocean spray. Would recommend!

Hope For Whales the Next Day - I only gave this a 4 instead of 5 because we didn't see any whales. The crew and the ride were great and we got a scenic view of the shorelines. We did see some sleeping spinner dolphins which was cool. They are correct that if you have back problems, this is not for you! You sit on the edge of the Zodiac boat and your spine gets bounced pretty well. All in all, it was a great day on the water and I had seen plenty of humpbacks before, so I wasn't too discouraged.

Do NOT book your tour with Captain J! - Do NOT book with Captain J’s. We saw absolutely NOTHING except the coastline. While we know this is possible (and not the fault of the crew), it is customary to offer some compensation. We would have been happy with 1/2-price vouchers to a future trip. Instead we got a snarky lecture about reading the fine print. $1200 later, we will never book with them again!
