What to see? You can walk (optional) on the black volcanic sand beach and limestone formations (a type of carbonate sedimentary rock, primarily composed of calcium carbonate, used in construction and producing lime when burned).

A BIG surprise is the walk to the natural caves (walking shoes recommended). You can even walk inside the natural cave(s). A must-see on the tour!

• Mirador Guise y Ayose - The famous statues of the Guanche kings, offering an amazing panoramic view at 600 meters altitude.

• Betancuria - Recognized as one of Spain’s most beautiful old villages by the government! It’s a coffee/toilet/sightseeing photo stop!

There’s ample time to explore and visit the Santa Maria Cathedral from 1410 (€2 entry not included, optional) and, of course, the local souvenir shops.

To be honest: Plenty of time to explore the first and oldest capital (1404).

• Iglesia Catedral de Santa Maria de Betancuria - Discover not only the oldest village from Jean de Betancourt, Betancuria, but for €2, you can visit the oldest cathedral, Santa Maria, from 1410. It’s not a must, but an option if you enjoy history.

It’s a delightful walk around and within the old green capital. That’s a promise.

• Mirador de las Penitas - Explore Fuerteventura with our multilingual guide. De las Penitas is an intriguing, if not magical, place in the mountains/volcanoes. It’s a panoramic photo stop!
• Tindaya - Let’s explore the typical Canarian old local village and its mineral volcano, TINDAYA, along with our local Majorero goats and Canela sheep.

This sightseeing tour lasts 6 hours, during which we travel from one hotspot to another in a luxurious, air-conditioned minibus. Our island is quite large, so we occasionally drive for 15 to 30 minutes.

However, there will be no dull moments as we pass through charming local Canarian villages.

• Pajara - Pájara, feminine pájaro, means a small bird, a sparrow. In the Andalusian dialect, pájara, especially refers to the partridge; Andalusian settlers discovered many gray partridges in the Barranco de Pájara and named the place accordingly. A bird, possibly a partridge, is at the center of Pájara’s shield.
  In colloquial language, pájara also means “fickle woman” today.

We also have the Church of the Virgin de la Regla in the center of the agricultural village, with plenty of limestone and an interesting history.
