• Wlotzkasbaken - The journey takes us past Wlotzkasbaken as we leave Walvis Bay, traveling through Swakopmund. This unique settlement is a topic of discussion. Nearby, the new Desalination Plant supplies water to the Uranium mines and Swakopmund.
• Hentiesbaai - We make a stop in Henties Bay to refuel for the long trip ahead. This town is a popular holiday destination.
• Spitzkoppe - Retracing our steps to Henties Bay, we turn into the Namib Desert towards Spitzkoppe. Along the way, we encounter local stalls offering rock crystals and admire the intriguing Bushman paintings and rock engravings. Climbing the Rock Arch, we enjoy the stunning Dolomite rock formations. Spitzkoppe, known as Namibia’s Matterhorn, is an inselberg and a magnificent granite rock formation standing at 1638m. After a light lunch, we return to Swakopmund.
• Swakopmund - Following a lengthy journey, we pass through Swakopmund on our way back to Walvis Bay.
• Zeila Shipwreck - En route to Henties Bay, we pause to view the Zeila shipwreck, which is stranded in the ocean between Henties Bay and Swakopmund.

The journey begins with a pickup from the accommodation, traveling past Long Beach and Swakopmund. The shipwreck, Zeila, can be seen between Swakopmund and Henties Bay. The next destination is Spitzkoppe, where Namibia’s own Matterhorn can be viewed and climbed. Namibia offers vast open spaces, clear skies, thousands of seals, stunning rock formations, ancient Bushman paintings, and unique desert plants. It’s a must-see destination in Namibia!
