A light lunch and drinks are provided. The tour uses modern, unsinkable kayaks that are user-friendly and do not capsize. Each participant is equipped with a life jacket, and the guide offers instruction on kayak use. No prior experience is necessary.
The adventure continues with an unforgettable Dune Tour, a highlight of any visit to Namibia. The tour explores the area where the dunes meet the sea, a stark yet serene landscape that is ever-changing. Participants can witness incredible wildlife and thousands of seabirds thriving in these harsh conditions. The tour includes thrilling drives up towering dunes to breathtaking viewpoints, all led by skilled and knowledgeable guides.
Participants will also see thousands of pink flamingos and pelicans in the Ramsar Walvis Bay Wetland. Along the route, the largest evaporation pond salt mine in Africa, with its distinctive pink salt waters, is also visible.

I have seen and learned a lot in one day....amazing - We were guided by Le Clux Louw who have taken us on a amazing day out. WHAT A EXPERIENCE!!. Le Clux 's knowledge of the surroundings were amazing and his dune driving abilities are right up there. This trip is a absolutely must and value for money

An unforgettable day in Walvis Bay with guide Le Clue! - We had an amazing day trip in Walvis Bay guided by Le Clue from Sandwich Harbor Tours. From online booking to confirmation to pick up and drop off, every step was smooth. Le Clue was very knowledgeable and passionate about the unique animals living in the Bay, he is also an expert 4x4 jeep driver and kayaking guide. We were “surfing” over the unimaginable vast sand dunes that extend 400 miles along the coast line, and watched dancing flamingos, and countless seals that playing on shore or swimming with kayaks. It was an unforgettable 7 hour tour, we only wish we could stay longer! Thank you Le Clue and your team.

Best day tour from Walvis - Absolutely loved this tour! We had such a great time with LeClue and his son Luca!! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This tour includes everything you need to see in Walvis with sea kayaking with hundreds of seals and dune driving in sandwich harbour.
This is a small if not private tour of the area. LeClue has lots of interesting knowledge regarding the dunes and the wildlife. I learned a lot! Driving the dunes was incredible- but you absolutely need a guide to do it!! Will be impossible to drive on your own to find the “roads” and popular dunes. LeClue was a very safe driver and yet we still had a lot of fun on the steeper dunes. The food included for breakfast and lunch was excellent and the meal setups along the beach and dunes were beautiful!
LeClue brought his son Luca along with us and it honestly made everything more fun! Such a funny and friendly kid. Leclue even had small bottles to collect sand as a keepsake. Overall, the tour was 100% worth the price and I’d highly recommend it.

An Unforgettable Namibia Experience - Our tour guide, LeClue Louw, was one of the best we’ve ever had. He was friendly, a skilled driver and extremely knowledgeable. Ask for him if you can.
We kayaked with seals and drove through huge sand dunes. We have sand dunes at home, but nothing compared with these. We saw a variety of animals, birds, pelicans, and flamingos. We also stopped at Africa’s largest evaporation-pond salt mine, its pink waters made for great pictures.
We highly recommend this for anyone wanting to see the very best of Walvis Bay in one incredible day.
A mid-morning snack, lunch and refreshing drinks were included, which was a nice added touch.

Phenomenal tour and wonderful guide - Fantastic tour! Our guide, Le Clue, was incredibly knowledgeable. He paced the tour very well and gave us plenty of time to kayak with the seals, eat brunch and an afternoon meal, and view the scenery/take photos at sandwich harbor. Would absolutely recommend this tour - very well worth the time and price!

Absolutely unforgettable experience – a must-do in Swakopmund! - This Kayak & Sandwich Harbor tour was hands down one of the highlights of my trip, and I cannot recommend it enough. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and incredibly interesting.
Our guide, Le Clue, was absolutely outstanding. He is extremely knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating information throughout the tour — about the landscape, wildlife, history, and the unique ecosystem of the area. You can truly feel his passion and expertise, which made the whole experience even more special.
Kayaking with the seals was so much fun and completely unforgettable. The seals are curious, playful, and full of personality — being so close to them in their natural environment was an amazing experience and felt very respectful to the animals.
Sandwich Harbor itself is breathtakingly beautiful — the dramatic contrast of towering dunes meeting the ocean is something you really have to see in person. Photos don’t do it justice.
This tour is a must-do when visiting Swakopmund or Namibia. Huge thanks to Le Clue for making this experience so memorable. I would 100% do this again and highly recommend it to everyone!

The team this Kayaking along the seals was really really good, before that we did a great experience in sandwich harbor, the ride was comfortable with Le Clue, he was really knowledgeable and up to the task and job, the tour was really experiential and memorable, Thanks Le Clue.

Good experience - Good guides and nice sites. The guide had interesting fact to tell and knew a lot about the sites. We saw springbocks, seals, schackals, oryx, flamingos and different birds.
