The day began with a visit to Monkeyland, a place that promised a unique interaction with the local wildlife. As soon as I stepped into the lush, tropical environment, I was greeted by the playful chatter of squirrel monkeys. These little creatures, with their curious eyes and nimble movements, were quick to make friends, climbing onto my shoulders in search of the fruit I held. It was a delightful experience, albeit a bit touristy, but seeing these monkeys up close was worth every moment.

In hindsight, I would have preferred to tackle the buggy trails before the waterfalls, allowing the refreshing waters to wash away the mud.
