Highlights
  • Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau - First, travel by minivan for 1 hour and 20 minutes before you arrive at the camp.

Founded on 27 April 1940, Auschwitz became the site of extermination by inhumane conditions and physical destruction of prisoners. It was the biggest death camp of the Nazi regime and during your tour a licensed guide will sensitively take you to see the barbed wire fences, watchtowers, barracks, gallows and gas chambers; these depict the circumstances under which the Nazi genocide took place. Spend 2 hours here with a short 20 minute break.

You will also visit Birkenau, a short 5-minute drive from Auschwitz. Birkenau comprised of more than 300 buildings, including latrines, watchtowers and gas chambers. Although a challenge, it’s important to remember these events to make sure that this history is never repeated.

Spend approximately 1.5 hours here before the 1 hour 20 minute drive back to Krakow.

Engaging Experience - Pick up was punctual by our driver Daniel, who was great in getting us to and from Auschwitz. The visit itself was an engaging and deep experience, learning about what happened at the camps from our guide and walking through the buildings. It may be quite mentally heavy for some, as you are on the site where much suffering and death took place, so keep this in mind when deciding to visit.

Appalling do not use this company - Appalling non service having booked early to ensure my bucket list wish they called gone 10pm to say there were a lack of guides and completely changed arrangements with ridiculous early start and no hotel pick up wanted us to wander at 6am to a distant pick up point. Would never use them they had weeks to tell us and waited until we were in bed. If phone had been on silent would have waiting for them at 9am. Furious
