Kenansville Porcupine Encounter

The park was amazing. We participated in both the Sloth encounter and Porcupine encounter. The porcupine encounter was very informative and interactive. Safari and Stella were so cute and playful. All of the enclosures were clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and interactive. The only concern i had was the single Sloth habitat. The heat lamp was not on or working and the temperatures were cold for them. The sloth was shaking in a ball most of the day, when i passed by. I hope it's been fixed for the sloth's sake. We will definitely be visiting again soon and participating in other encounters.

This was a wonderful experience! The porcupines were basically like playing with little puppies. If visiting wild Florida this is an encounter not to be missed. The porcupines are so sweet!

The animal encounter with the porcupine was beyond amazing and so unique! The park over all was better than we even imagined. The hands on experiences with the animals was so fun, it wasn’t all look from a distance so we really enjoyed that. The animals looked happy and the staff was friendly too! We will be back to hopefully see the baby sloth, please post on your website when that happens!

We really enjoyed every part of this encounter, and felt that we got our money’s worth! Such a nice, well kept facility. The encounters were great and the hosts of each encounter we well educated and lots of fun.

Great interaction

I had a wonderful time during the porcupine encounter. The trainer was very knowledgable and friendly and took pictures for me. I also enjoyed the company of the rambunctious African tortoise, Tortellini. He was awesome!

We had an amazing time in the Porcupine Encounter AND the added bonus of meeting Tortellini! It was educational and we had tons of one on one (actually two of us) time with the animals - it was a great way to celebrate my husbands birthday!
