At the Junkanoo World Museum & Arts Centre, we were immersed in the history and energy of this iconic Bahamian festival. The costumes, the music, the dance—it was all so exhilarating. I even got the chance to dress up in a Junkanoo costume and join in the festivities, which was an absolute blast.

We wrapped up our adventure at Drifters at Da’ Fish Fry, where we sampled an array of local delicacies. The conch fritters, tamarind glazed chicken wings, and crisp fried fish morsels were the perfect end to a day filled with exploration and discovery. The staff at Drifters were lively and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

As we made our way back, Leon offered to drop us off at the straw market, giving us the option to continue our adventure. It was a thoughtful touch that added to the overall experience.
