Gibraltar for a day - A nice trip to Gibraltar. Although the bus ride took time, it was worth it. Very good driver and guide.

Good experience - I’m giving this a five star because it really is a good experience however I must make sure I mention that the bus ride is long yet comfortable enough to endure.

A great choice to see ALL of the Gibraltar. - Yes, it was a long bus ride from the time we were picked up, then picked others up along the way to Gibraltar. We were prepared for this based on other reviews. The only difficult part for us was the lack of access to bathroom facilities during the long bus ride. Janet was our tour guide and did a great job of prepping us for the border crossing/customs into Gibraltar. We had free time in the town and were able to do shopping and have lunch on our own. We, then, met back up with Janet to be assigned to smaller vans with a different tour guide to take us up to the top of the Rock of Gibraltar -- giving us history of Gibraltar, to see St. Michael's Cave and (our favorite) to be up close with the Barbary macaques in the Nature Reserve. We then met Janet back with our big bus to reverse the process -- go back through customs, drop others off and ultimately take us back to our origination point. It was a long day, but a wonderful experience!

Good luck, but hungry and a little short on time - The guide and driver were great! The guide in Gibraltar pleasant and easygoing. I wished for some time in Gibraltar and some more opportunity to have breakfast. We started at 07:00 from Málaga, so we didn’t have time to eat breakfast before. We were not allowed to eat anything on the bus and when we stopped on the way for a short stop there was no time to have breakfast. The bus trip took 4 hours and as soon as we arrived we went on the guided tour of Gibraltar (which was great!) when it was finished at 2 pm was the first time we had the opportunity to eat something. It was also all we had time to do in Gibraltar before the bus went back - 4 hours without stopping or toilet on the bus. Would have liked to get a little better information that there was no opportunity to eat on the road or in the bus in advance. Would also have liked another hour in Gibraltar. Otherwise great trip!

Long day but worth it! - We loved it when we got to Gibraltar but the bus trip was very long due to having multiple stops to pick up other passengers, we were aware of this but didn’t realise it would take quite so long .
Took 4 hours to get there from the first pick up.
However Janet was very informative on the way and our bus driver up the Rock was fantastic!
Definitely worth doing but it does take the whole day!

The reviews are accurate! - As others have mentioned, very long journey which may be of interest-3 hrs there and 3 hrs back. Promised 30 minutes at cave, were given 20 minutes, and 10 minutes with monkeys - saw 1 monkey eating a carrot. Town is a tourist trap. So knowing all of this before going, I still wanted to see St. Michael’s cave and loved it. All quite disorganized, so pack your patience.

Gibraltar without Top view - It was so dissapointing not to reach the Monkey's feeding and their residence place.
Long story short - 2 hours trip by bus, 2 hours free time before St. Michael cave, 20 min inside and return to Malaga. Luckely few monkeys was near the cave, so at least it was possible to see some.

Somewhat disappointing - Favourite place was cave and tour of the rock. Disappointed that we didn’t see the runway and crossing as it was in different promotions for Gibraltar that you had to physically cross the runway.
A lot of time was waisted, we were told to meet in Malaga at 7am but the bus didn’t arrive until about 7.15 or later, there was one pick up in Malaga at a bus stop, which was fine but then we had several stops along the way to pick up passengers from their hotels in different towns which meant there was no time for even a toilet stop on the way
Only commentary on the way was about a hotel actors stayed in and that there were a lot of golf courses and a lot of new construction

Never pick up! - We arrive 20 minutes before our meeting time (7am). Waited with many people and when buses arrived we were not on any list so they left us behind, tried to contact the tour company but was not open before 9am. Contacted Viator by chat and was told they would get back to me in maximum 72 hours!!!! Plan this activity for my family for months very disappointed and frustrating. Never will I be reserving on Viator again! Worst experience.
