Not many people in boat were catching fish, I think probably 20 fish caught with 35 people on boat. The captain mentioned that she knew it was gunna be a bad day and that 1:00pm trip is going to be worst. If you know the probability of catching fish are low then why not tell customers before they pay you so much money. Then also the captain kept complaining about people leaning on the windows because they kept coming out. The boat is small and the water was choppy; sometimes you can’t control yourself with that small space and people constantly walking by. The fish that people caught should be more organized. Put all the fish for each party on one string and then give them a number. Also demanding a 20% tip after the trip is wrong. You should mention the tip at booking the trip so customers can bring cash ahead of time or decide not to go because it’s to expensive to pay admission plus %20 tip.

Didn't let me reel in a big fish because I’m a woman.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve been out on the Lady Pamela. I was excited to bring my sons friend and mom as they had never been deep sea fishing before. They were both excited and a little nervous. The boy was mostly nervous about how he was going to bait his hook and remove a fish, if he caught one but I assured him the staff was so helpful, they were there to help immediately if he had any issues or needed help. It appeared that there was one young man who was training 2 others. There were not many people on the boat and the price had increased significantly because of Covid. We debated quite some time because it was a lot of money but decided to go ahead because the boys would be back in school sons and it was a treat for them. It turned out to be an awesome day. Weather was perfect. We didn’t catch much and most had to be thrown back due to size. Anyway my reason for writing this is to let the owner know that the staff was not very friendly. One spent most of the time fishing from the back of the boat, the young man training was unable to be found most times when one of the boys caught something and the one young darker skinned boy was the only we could see running around trying to help everyone when they needed it. Half the time when we caught a fish, unfamiliar with what they were, I had to walk around the boat trying to find someone, many times couldn’t while the fish sat in the hook. A few times I saw them I side inside the AC while we were hollering for them but still needed to knock to get the one boy (training) to come out. Part of what your paying for is the entire experience. Enjoying the boat ride, view etc. On the way back the boy (training) told everyone they needed to go inside so he could spray the boat down. Mind you, we just began heading in. I understand the boat needed to be cleaned prior to another trip but not only are we still under strict social distancing guidelines (none of the crew was wearing a mask, including the girl serving drink, and her boyfriend who rode along) we were now all told we had to sit inside of the boat for the entire ride back. I told the young man I’d like to stay listed and he replied to me “well then it’s not my fault if you get sprayed with what I’m spraying off the boat. I went inside, but it wasn’t comfortable so my friend and I and the boys went to the top deck. The captain had to be prodded to say 2 words to you and the boy came up and said we had to go back downstairs. I said we really didn’t want to be inside, we wanted to enjoy the view and the ride back. The captain said we could stay as long as we stayed to the one side because “you don’t know how hard it is to dock this thing.” Wow. Anyway I felt it was very important for the owner to know about our experience. Although we had a great time, perfect weather, good company, caught a few fish, the staff needs to be trained in customer service. It’s a lot of money to pay and be treated like it really didn’t matter to them if we were there or not. In fairness to the young lady that was training, she was incredibly sweet, always helpful when we could find her but was fishing the entire time. It’s not her fault because she is not being properly trained. The friendliest person we dealt with the entire time was the older gentleman that took our CC and DL. I assume he was the owner. Treated the guests the way you would expect to be treated.
