- Puerto de Mogán - Who is eligible for this program?
Individuals who have achieved the PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver certification or higher and are at least 12 years of age are qualified to participate in the Night Diver specialty course.
What skills will you acquire?
Engaging in nocturnal scuba diving instructs you in concentrating on the visuals within the scope of your flashlight, mastering buoyancy control through tactile sensation, maintaining proximity to your dive partner, and being mindful of minutiae that might be missed in daylight. Across three evening dives, you will hone:
Techniques for managing light and signaling.
Techniques for entry, departure, and orientation in low-light conditions.
Recognizing the nocturnal variations or behavioral shifts in flora and fauna.

Immersion into the underwater world at nighttime appears enigmatic but is quite appealing. While you might be familiar with a scuba dive spot from repeated visits, it transforms completely at night when illuminated by your dive light. The usual daytime aquatic life gives way to night-dwelling creatures. If you’re curious about the life beneath the water surface post-sunset, enroll in the PADI Night Diver Specialty course.
- Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum age is 12 years
- All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some preexisting medical conditions (asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
