To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

Additional Information
Acquire your scuba diving skills from a premium PADI course in Puerto de Mogan, Gran Canaria. Receive your globally acknowledged PADI certification which enables you to dive up to 18 meters without supervision around the globe! Achieve it in a mere 3 days under the guidance of friendly PADI instructors. You will engage in sheltered sessions executed in the shallow parts of the Ocean and 4 open-water dives at the amazing Canary Island dive locales. Group size does not exceed 20.
- Minimum age is 10 years
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended.
- All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some preexisting medical conditions (asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
- Please bring a swimsuit and towel

The easiest meeting point is the general bus station which is located 50m from our dive centre. We
meet there at 9:30 where we can send one of our crew members to pick you up.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Amazing time!! - I took the class with Peter. It was super nice, really a good instructor that take the time to explain things. Always feel safe at any point of the class. The staff is sympathic and help you, no matter the problem.
Plus, the city is so beatiful and has a relaxing vibe, I really recommend. An amazing experience !!

WOW!!! Unforgettable! - Initially I was almost dragged there by my bf who is a diver already. I was scared, so, so scared.
When I finally decided to do it, after my first dive with Michał, I was in love with diving! The same day, I decided to do the open water diving course with Mateusz. It was incredible! I have discovered a whole new world I only heard about before, the amount and variety of fish you can see and feed, the feeling of freedom and adventure and achievement was unforgettable. Mateusz is a fantastic instructor, explaining every detail and very supportive, a polyglot, as most of the instructors there! English, Spanish, German, French, Polish and probably a few more!
I honestly have never thought I would become a certified diver and I must say it was one of my best decisions ever. I highly recommend everything in this school :D :D :D

Open Water Diver with Alfredo Cuvi - Our son (age 12) completed his Open Water Diver course at Delphinus Diving School in Gran Canaria this summer with a brilliant team lead by Dive Master Alfredo Cuvi. I can't praise Alfredo highly enough - his kindness, patience and expertise made this a wonderful, life-changing experience for our son. We felt at all times that our son was in the safest possible hands, and having carried on diving since returning home, local instructors have been extremely complimentary about how well he has been taught. Open Water Diver with Alfredo - I had the pleasure to did the Open Water Diver course at Delphinus Diving School in Gran Canaria. Dive master was Alfredo. It was very relaxed to do all the dives with Alfredo. I can definitely recommend Alfredo and Delphinus Diving School.

friendly and professional diving in Puerto de Mogan - Took a Open Water Diver course in Puerto de Mogan. My instructor was Alfredo and he explained all the necessary information very simple and understandable. He was casual and friendly, and made me feel like a friend, not a client. At the same time he took safety very seriously and made sure that all the aspects of diving are understood correctly and I am ready to go underwater. I felt reassured that I am in safe hands. Consequently had great dives and Alfredo showed good example of how to handle yourself under water.

Learning to dive, finally! - Having tried the Discover Scuba session last holiday with Delphinus and having loved it, this trip was booked in order to do the open water course! The course follows the padi process of theory videos, pool and then open water sessions.
The crew were fantastic with unrelenting support and encouragement throughout the course, in particular, Jonathan (my instructor) Michel (who I did my "Trial dive" with previously and Karolina. Despite the lack of visibility on ocean day, it was a fantastic opportunity to finally be able to do this!
I thoroughly recommend Delphinus Diving School to anyone wanting to do the PADI open water course. I'll be back to continue and develop my diving with them. Just not soon enough!

Amazing - Throughly enjoyed our time at Delphinus diving school, we (my father and I) did our open water qualifications and two dives with the well experienced team. The only criticism we have is that we found that we were waiting around for long durations before going for dives waiting either for instructors or other customers to suit up.
