Grab Canaria Island Coach Tour - Very enjoyable trip at a very reasonable price. Gave lots of ideas of where to visit in the future and views around the Island were spectacular. Your guid was very knowledgable and bus driver excellent. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Fantastic guide and driver - The tour was made fabulous by the knowledgeable guide Abraham and driver Antonio. The tour was thorough and gave us an insight to the island and it's people. Lunch was a eat as much as you want buffet for a mere 8euros including wine and water. Taken for a coffee that consisted of five layers a barraquito. Not to be missed.

In the offer, it is... - In the offer, it is specified that the pick-up is done from the location where you are staying and the same on the way back. In reality it is not like that, they don't care where the address is, they will bring you to the locality at most. It is ok if you specify this from the beginning, not after I have paid.

Grand Tour-Gran Canaria - Large bus, Gabbie, good tour guide. I suggest considering getting motion sickness prevention medicine as some of the road on the west coast are very winding. Nice lunch at a great restaurant in Agaete. Bus driver, Valentino, needs to help passengers on and off the bus at stops by being available at the door to offer his arm as support. He has a sign that he wants tips but does not make any effort to be friendly by saying "good morning" or offering assistance.. Many elderly and overweight passengers would appreciate such assistance. Scenic comprehensive tour of these parts of the island.

Complaints ignored with no response. - I was holidaying in Lanzarote(Puerto de Carmen) last month and wish to draw your attention to a problem our party of 5 had on one of First Travel excursions. We booked one of the tours(The Grand Tour) on Tuesday 20/02/2024 for 5 people on the main strip in Puerto de Carmen. Pick up point was La Isla Ye El Mar Boutique at around 9.40am The bus arrived around 30 minutes late around 10.10 and we proceeded to pay by card we tried 4 cards debit and credit cards which were not accepted by the machine all these cards had been tried on the holiday several times without any problems. The balance to pay was 260 euros for the party. Because of this we were told that we would pay later. On checking with at least 7 or 8 couples on the bus the same problem had occurred with them thus creating a late bus most couples were forced to pay cash.It was obvious at this point there was a problem with the the card reader of the guide. We continued just out of town the bus stopped and the guide asked myself and one other into an office and another card reader was produced by presumably another guide similar to the one used by the guide. The same thing happened again and both myself and the other gentleman were directed to An ATM outside the building to withdraw the relevant cash. After this the bus proceeded now around probably 45minutes behind schedule. The cost of the ATM to me resulted in a rate of 1.01 euros to the pound. The debit card rate through my card would have been 1.165 euros to the £ this incurred a loss to me around £34.00 When the bus stopped for lunch we were informed that the time would be cut to 40/45 minutes obviously due to earlier problems. We were also informed on arrival that lunch was a set price of 12 euros or nothing This had not been informed by the selling agent who said we could buy to suit without the full buffet . We walked to cafe on the edge of the car park and service was slow food had to be gulped down We did not want the buffet due to dietary requirements of the group. I note this was a problem of the selling agent and not First travel . The next day we went into another selling agent near the port to book another trip we informed him of our troubles he phoned first travel direct giving my mobile number to resolve the problem. No call back was received. We again went to same agent several days again he phoned First Travel to call me back. Again I received no call back. I may add that the lady guide was excellent and the trip was generally good however I have asked for some compensation due to the above. In addition to the above calls I have also emailed first minute travel 3 times without a reply which is not a good advert for the island or First travel excursions. Arthur Bruce

Not what we expected - At first we booked this for 26th December but were only told the day before when I called to confirm booking that the tour operator didn't do these tours on a Thursday so it was changed to Friday ! Don't expect to visit the building in the picture, you don't. Don't expect to go to a coffee plantation and drink coffee, you don't, instead you get taken to a banana plantation to sample bananas and other fruit, dished up by a man who looked like he, and his clothes hadn't been washed in months ! Don't waste your money on this tour !!
