Amazing sightseeing. - We took a 60 minute tour with doors off. We had a fantastic experience seeing Kauai and Jurassic falls. Our pilot was Salis and he was very knowledgeable of the area. We would totally recommend Air Kauai.

JUST DO IT! YOLO. - AMAZING! Worth every penny. Our pilot, Salis was so knowledgeable. The ground staff was exceptional. The Napali coast almost brought me to tears, so beautiful!

Doors Off... the only way to fly - Best view of the island. A land full of waterfalls and lush green cliffs. You can see all the places you can't reach on foot, all the places left untouched on the island. Stunning and breathtaking. Our pilot Mario was amazing. He made us feel comfortable, excited, and made sure we all got an impeccable view. With weather permitting we were able to come close to the the walls of a crater. Absolutely thrilling!

If you want one of the coolest experiences of your life, do this! - The staff was outstanding. The pilot was also outstanding and a very cool guy. I highly recommend this tour! It was worth every penny!

Perfect Private Flight - Salis and his co pilot provided an incredible flight around the island with some awesome history and info in between great songs. Would absolutely go again.

Stupid Happy - Brazilian pilot & 2 seat private flight was spectacular, Salis made every effort to zoom in as close as possible safely. He clearly loves what he's doing & constantly referred to us by name or as friends. Taught us a new phrase "stupid happy"

A Must See Adventure - This was a MUST DO excursion! Our pilot, Mario Salis, was very informative, a bit comedic, and extremely nice. The views were stunning! We even saw 2 whales. This was our 1st helicopter ride, but my fears subsided as soon as we took off. Don’t miss this.

Exciting flight with special views that we will always remember! - This flight was one for the books! Doors off set this flight well above others we’ve taken by far. Our pilot Salis was outstanding how he handled the aircraft to make the trip totally comfortable and enjoyable was amazing. He got us so close to the canyon walls (safely) that you felt like you could see the walls clearly. Totally recommend this flight always! Top of our list of great experiences.

Once in a lifetime experience with Air Kauai - Air Kauai provided a fun and safe experience for my husband and I. We booked a private tour with the doors off. We've never taken a helicopter tour and I was nervous, but the pilot, Solis, was so professional and put our mind at ease with his 20 years of flying experience, and his clear love of flying as well as Kauai. He provided so much information about the island, and even took us by sites we wanted to visit during our stay on the island. I was worried about motion sickness which I've had parasailing due to the up and down motion. I let Solis know and he checked on me throughout the flight. The ride was steady and I never once felt sick. He prepared us for any motion due to the wind conditions, which wasn't often. He was very knowledgeable about how various weather conditions affected the helicopter which made me feel even more at ease. The doors off is a must! Unobstructed magnificent views! I was anticipating feeling unsafe when we turned, or if there was any shaking due to winds, but that was not the case at all. If my body moved at all, it's because I was leaning over my husband to get a good photo! It is windy so wear pants and a sweatshirt. I had my hair in a ponytail, but I lost about 10 strands of hair when I removed the headset, so really secure your hair if you don't want to deal with that. No hats allowed, but you can wear sunglasses. I can't gush enough over the scenery you'll see. The Napali Coast, and the Wai'ale'ale Crater at the center of the island. Truly incredible! The staff is so kind and helpful. We spoke with them prior to the trip which was helpful. Their building sits behind FedEx. You can't see the building from the main road, but you can call them and they'll guide you. Thank you to the entire team at Air Kauai, especially our talented pilot Solis!

Probably wouldn’t recommend - Can’t really say how the experience would be because we never got to even go out. We booked doors off experience. We were cancelled due to weather and rescheduled. I called in everyday up to our reschedule date trying to get on a different flight with no avail. The rebooking date came we were again cancelled. We understand things happen and weather comes up, I just feel like with the circumstances getting refund when we decided to cancel our 3rd rebooking should have been done without hesitation. I will say the girls working in the office are great! Kind and polite however it would be the company and the policy that I would give a one start rating on. They got two starts from me solely because the young ladies working in the office are so very trying and polite and nice.
