Great trip, excellent views and off road experience - Fantastic trip. Amazing views and going off road in the jeep was really fun!! The guide was really informative, quite laid back and made it an excellent trip. On the way back he will drop off anywhere you want in Funchal.

🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 - We had a great guide, Filipe, and we didn't get bored on this trip. The center of Madeira was fascinating and we also made and tasted the poncho drink again.

- We did a 4 hour tour with Vitor and it was absolutely amazing. Vitor was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. It gave a true insight into Madeira and we got to see some amazing views. We had our two kids with and he was so good with them and made sure they also enjoyed the trip.
The off roading was excellent and the highlight of the tour for our 12 year old boy!
We cannot recommend them more! Truly worth every cent!

Great family excursion with very fun guide - We had an amazing tour with Miguel. He was a lot of fun, and extremely knowledgeable about the island and the area. He even was able to tell us the types of plants we were seeing, and gave us a rich history lesson of the island. He was able to keep our two young children entertained and engaged, which is no small feat. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Mother and daughter island trip - Myself and my daughter had an amazing day touring the Western coast of Madeira. Victor brought an incredible amount of charisma and energy to the trip and we spent the day meeting some lovely people whilst learning about the fauna and flora of the island. A day very well spent and we would definitely come back again if we had more time!☺️

Had a great time on the... - Had a great time on the tour. Saw plenty of beautiful scenery and had fun off-roading. Learned quite a bit about the local flora, and had some tasty drinks.

The FUN in Funchal Madeira - Great, great tour. Don’t look anywhere else, this is the one you will enjoy so much you will use your vacation time to write a review. Our guide Andre was fantastic. Toured area where Churchill painted, then cliffs with glass bottom overlook. Next was trail ride to view point overlooking Nuns Valley where we saw snow covered mountain peaks from the storm that day. Had a drink of freshly made Poncha Andre made for us at neighborhood bar followed by an excellent lunch at wonderful resturant As Vides. Tour ran overtime but Andre happily delivered us to our boat afterwards. All this while driving around this magnificent sea side area with narrow winding roads with steep climbs and descents and Andre providing fun filled info. I read many if the other 5-star reviews and they add additional details that we experienced. Again, great, great tour

Cautionary tale of last minute booking - We booked this tour the night before through Get your Guide. We received an email overnight from the tour organiser asking us to cancel the tour because they thought the weather would make it unsafe. If we had done this we would have lost the money we paid as the the tour was supposed to run rain or shine. In fact today has been warm and sunny. We think the tour operator wanted to get out of proceeding and it was only after we rejected cancelling ourselves that the tour operator cancelled the tour and arranged a refund. We think this is a cautionary tale that could have left us out of pocket and we were also disappointed that Get your Guide didn't take the point of our complaint (or haven't told us they would take it up with the provider). Other tourists should take care they don't get caught with this type of action.
