Their blows can also help localize them. Sperm whales can be observed all year round while humpback whales can be observed between June and October.
Once on site, our crew will give you more information about these majestic marine mammals. We will respect approach rules and minimum distance in order to avoid disturbing them. Don’t forget your cameras to immortalize this wonderful moment!
Water and soft drinks will be served during the tour. The tour ends at around 1 p.m.

Great experience with respect for the whales - Nice team, despite the delay they waited for us. After a short time we saw a large sperm whale and had enough time to take pictures. Particular emphasis was placed on not harassing the whale, which we found great!

One should be seaworthy... - You should be seaworthy.We were very lucky and saw a sperm whale family with a calf. There was also a male sperm whale nearby. On the way back, a dolphin school was following us.

Great experience - We did the whale tour in September, it was a great experience. At the jetty we were warmly welcomed and set off with 8 people in a small speedboat. The boys have educated us well and also stressed directly that it is not allowed to snorkel with the whales or drive close to them in Mauritius. They adhered to that law, too. We saw a single juvenile whale and a mother with a calf. The whales swam very close to us in part, it was unique .
Since the waves were very high, one or the other already struggled with nausea.

Top excursion - Great experience. On time. Good agreement. Safety is taken care of and guests are well looked after. Waited for us for a moment because we were a few minutes late due to traffic jams. Good briefing and explanation. Consideration for the animals. Many whales seen (but without guarantee).

Three whales spotted - We were so grateful to see three whales as part of this experience. It is something that we will always remember and a highlight of our time in Mauritius. The skippers were very professional, safety conscious and respected the animals. We would definitely recommend anti-nausea tablets if you are prone to motion sickness as the water is incredibly choppy. Thanks again to the skippers for making our experience memorable.

Experience Beautiful - Beautiful experience that allowed us to see a family of sperm whales. We were very happy. The team is professional and attentive. The ride looked a bit like an extreme sport, but it’s definitely worth it! Be careful when climbing to the front of the boat, as the waves can sometimes be quite strong and soak you easily.

Great experience 😍 the... - Super experience 😍 the guide was very friendly, helpful and considerate and the boatmaster/captain drove really great. Just the boat trip alone was worth it. We've seen whales, too. It was fantastic.

Spotted Sperm Whales & sea birds - The weather was not great for couple of days before the trip and we were apprehensive going on the trip. Fortunately the weather cleared up on the day and we had no problem of rough seas. We managed to spot 2 female Sperm Whales and a calf during our trip. We were told upfront we are not allowed to swim with Whales which was fine with us. Couple of other boats also followed the rule and we all kept safe distance from the Whales. We also spotted some sea birds (Wedge-tailed Shearwater) which was a bonus.
The tour was shortened to 1.5 hours as the Captain said the sea is getting rough. The boat had a small toilet onboard which was convenient. Overall a nice experience!

Not to recommand whale watching Tour - No explanation or communication with the Crew, no drinks, no whales, it was the worst whale watching tour we ever had. In the end we saw two dolphins swimming along.

They cancelled on us …………..1.5 hours before the trip, calm as anything yet they said it was too windy
