Highlights
  • Crane - The Crane stands as a prominent symbol of Gdansk, representing the remnants of the city’s illustrious trading era. Constructed in the mid-15th century as part of the largest double-towered gate along the shoreline, it was used to install and remove ship masts and to load and unload heavy cargo from vessels at the quay. Remarkably, this human-powered mechanism could lift loads of up to 2000kg, making it the largest crane in medieval Europe.
  • SS Soldek - SS Sołdek was a Polish freighter designed for transporting coal and ore.
  • Gdansk Shipyard - Gdansk Remontowa Shipyard remains a bustling, operational yard, offering a fascinating glimpse for those interested in observing ships of various sizes in different stages of repair or construction. It’s particularly intriguing to paddle and watch workers on ferries.
  • Ołowianka B&B - Enjoy an amazing kayak tour along the Motlawa River, circling two of Gdansk’s islands: Granary Island and Olowianka Island. Gdansk’s unique location at the intersection of sea and river routes, including the Vistula River at the Baltic estuary, as well as the Radunia and Motlawa rivers, has significantly influenced the city’s development. Historical literature and drawings highlight water as a crucial element of the city’s life. Today, it’s essential to showcase Gdansk’s connection to water.
  • Motlawa River Embankment (Dlugie Pobrzeze) - A kayak tour offers a unique perspective on the historical significance of the Main City. Paddling through the canals provides the freedom to explore areas inaccessible to ferries. We will present a completely different view of Gdansk compared to what you’ve seen on land.

Top organization and management - The tour was very professionally organized and led. Everything fit together wonderfully. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced kayaker, the two guides did justice to everyone and everyone immediately felt safe. Highly recommended. The tour isn't too long either.

Paddling in the heart of Gdansk - Evocative tour, from the shipyards to the canals of the historic center of Gdansk and back. Magnificent views and a guide who gave us lots of interesting information on the history of the city without ever being banal. Highly recommended for those who love a pinch of "adventure".

15/10 created some cool memories - Awesome trip! Like, no joke, it was one of the coolest experiences I've had ever. Our lovely guide Szymon walked our small group step by step through the process of how to properly sit, how to row, and how to behave when on water. Even with minimal prior experience with kayaks I felt safe and prepared. We stopped at several points along the river to listen to the history of the city. Szymon is an excellent guide, his storytelling style is engaging and genuine. We later got into a huge rain, and genuinely it was one of the most fun and exciting experiences I've had ever. Water boiling all around you while you row along the empty river... that's a core memory material right there Absolutely, genuinely, amazing. Would recommend, 15/10

A memorable experience - I didn't know what to expect and was a bit anxious at first, since I don't know to do any kayak. But in the end it was a memorable experience. We rowed around the canals of the city of Gdansk and the guide stopped us here and there to explain the surroundings and let us rest. Our kayak was a bit difficult to control left and right, but still okay to make it. As a beginner, this left me a memorable experience and the sunset was beautiful viewed from the kayak. I recommended a friend to take the tour after me. PS: If you come by foot, the place is a bit difficult to find. Do call them, they'll guide you, though. PS 2: Bring your bottle of water with you!
