Guests should arrive 15 minutes prior to departure. Please dress for the weather. Lightweight, synthetic clothing is best. Guests should come prepared to get wet while paddling.
Cancellation policy
Tours may be cancelled due to inclement weather, at which time a raincheck will be issued. A 50% refund will be issued if cancellations are made 4 days prior to your tour.
Reschedules must be made at least 48 hours in advance. A $25 rescheduling fee per boat will be applied for cancellations within 48 hours of your tour.

We had kayaked with kayak chicago last fall when we came to visit our college daughter. We had such a good time we booked another for this year, this time for an evening paddle and brought our other 3 children to enjoy. We kayak in lakes at home, but we benefitted so much from the guides, equipment and comraderie. It was a ton of fun and an amazing way to see the city, day or night. Thanks for a memorable evening!

Everything about this tour was great! I am from Chicago, and this was my first time going on this tour. We showed up early and found free parking right across from the place. From the moment we walked up, we were greeted so nicely and felt so welcomed. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Instructions were crystal clear. Everything we needed to know, from safety to paddling tips were explained thoroughly. Once on the water, the guides made sure no one was left behind and we were guided through the river. The view was beautiful and out overall experience was perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. 😊
