Reaching Pollina village will allow us to see the pink stone theater offering a magnificent, one-of-a-kind view of Madonie, just in time for sundown. We’ll have an aperitif on a terrace overseeing Aeolian Islands. Our journey continues towards Castelbuono village, exploring its tiny ‘alleys’ and indulging in a traditional dinner at a local trattoria - the expedition then moves on during the night, via off-road routes, towards the ‘briganti’ bridge located in Tiberius gorges valley within Madonie park, a historic spot where once brigands laid in wait to levy tolls from passing traders. The off-rod itinerary continues up the valley surrounded by ancient olive trees where numerous nocturnal creatures might be spotted. An arrival awaits at the old San Mauro mill villages, charmingly nestled within the mountainside - finale being a scenic coastal return during the night! Definitely worth experiencing!
