The sun was just beginning to rise as I made my way to the La Bodeguita pier, the salty breeze already hinting at the adventures that lay ahead. As a former professional surfer, the ocean has always been my playground, and the promise of a full day at the Pao Pao Beach Club was too tempting to resist. The journey to Islas del Rosario was a smooth 45-minute ride on a comfortable speedboat, with the gentle hum of the engine and the rhythmic lapping of waves setting the perfect tone for the day.
