Great catamaran! Excellent crew that values safety and fun! - A great time! A beautiful catamaran! Fun crew! Wonderful lunch on the island. Took us to the main dock with a public beach where we had about an hour and a half. Chairs were $15 US a pair to rent. No choice there. A little crowded. I was on Isla Muljeres back in 1989 and the beaches were so much less quieter and less crowded. I guess it's a popular spot now. Lots of fun on the catamaran. They were generous with the drinks! Great music! The crew values safety and fun, in that order. They keep their boat very clean. Just do it!

Awesome day with Diamond Bright Catamaran - We were picked up at Vidanta properties at 8:45 am. Then we went to the port where we paid our port fees of $15.00 per person. We boarded a catamaran with 23 other people for an open bar ride to the coral reef. There we were provided snorkeling gear and were able to snorkel for a good length of time. We them boarded and enjoyed an open bar with a great bartender that never let your glass get empty. We arri ed at Isla Mujeres ICE Bar for a really good buffet lunch with unlimited drinks. After lunch, we went to a port at Isla Mujeres where we had free time. We walked to the Isla Mujeres sign and then around the beach. Isla Mujeres has really affordable massages on the beach. The catamaran ride back to Cancun port was a nice party back. We were escorted to our transport back to the hotel in a nice quiet ride. Great day was had by all. Kudos to Silver Fox and his amazing crew. Thanks for a great day. Also thanks to Alan from [email protected] travel agency for booking this trip for us.

Great experience. - The catamaran was great! There were a few fibs told, we were told it was a a half hour transport, it was more like an hour. Once we got there it was a bit hectic, and we were told to do suncreams then and there which was also awkward Catamaran was not oversold, there was room. Alex our tour guide was extremely informative, and you could tell safety was a top priority. The drinks weren’t bad, but one person running around with a selection of drinks felt a bit hard work for everyone. We went snorkelling which was amazing. Then to Isla mujeres for food where most of my group got food poisoning. I can barely even think about that buffet. It was horrible. Then onto Isla mujeres shopping. With barely enough time to get a drink. Then onto a nice part of the sea where we got to boat jump, current was way too much though. The toilets on the catamaran need checked more often. Also when you get off the catamaran the toilets are closed.. All in all really fun experience but has a little work to do.

Chaotic busy boat trip - Booked with MKT travel just down from Starbucks in Playacar. When I booked I got promised a free extensive bar, 2 hours in Isla Mujeres and a maximum of 25 people on the boat so plenty of space to relax. We got picked up at 7.40 and took a mini bus to Cancun which took 90 min. When we got to Cancun it was chaos with queues, we we finally got on the boat to find nowhere to sit, it was absolutely cramped. We finally found a space at the front of the boat and I counted around 40 people on board. The free bar was ridiculous, the staff brought us various drinks but 2 staff serving 40 people different drinks on a moving boat wasn’t easy. We ordered a cocktail and 45 min later no drink. I got up to go get a drink but due to the volume of people to climb her I tripped, went over on my ankle and fell quite badly much to the amusement of everyone on the boat. Before. Got chance of a drink we stopped for snorkelling. The snorkelling area was pretty amazing and lots of fish and underwater statues. The only issue we had to stay in a group and couldn’t swim off and had to follow the guide. This sounds fine but try snorkelling with 40 people in a small area, I had more bums and feet in my face than I did fish! Back on the boat and still no drinks. Stopped for lunch and ice bar, honestly the worst place I have been so far, didn’t look clean or smell nice, a buffet lunch that resembled slop, nowhere to sit, queues and people all over, absolutely chaotic. We had an hour for lunch and back on the boat, finally got a drink. Short ride round to Isla mujeres. Quite a beautiful place but the sheer volume of people was crazy! We had 1 hour 40 min, we had a look round the town and back to the crammed beach. It didn’t look like the paradise they advertise however we didn’t have enough time to explore and find a quieter area to relax. Back on the boat, more drinks which was good. Headed back, again crammed in very little room. Despite all the above we did enjoy the say but were not given what we were sold. Staff were friendly and helpful but i wouldn’t book the trip again

I highly DONT recommend diamond bright - The start, the sale person named Emmanuel,at playa del carmen, lied about what was included in the tour. He decided to go with diamond bright because you get to spend time a north beach in isla Mujeres. Thats what Emmanuel told me. We only pasted by, we can barely see the beach. When i went back to see him, he said that i was lying. On top of all that, we pay for get pictures send to us by email and never got them. The catamaran is packed with barely any room to sit, no shade also. The food was horrible. I recommend using a different company.

Go with a different tour. This was 12 hours and your was totally misrepresented by the seller. - Tour seller Guillermo: 5th avenue Promised: 40 min drive to/from 75 mins to get there. continental breaky: where? parasailing: not one mention, 3 snorkel stops: 1 quick stop at wrong statues. Don’t get me started on the terrible lunch buffet/drinks. No beach chairs as promised. We had to buy time at a table with umbrella as way too hot to be in sun, driver late for 2 hour drive back. The boat crew were awesome, the weather perfect. 5⭐️ to the crew. Would never book with this company again. We’ve been on a ton of tours. Never experienced such a misrepresented tour.

Worst ever - I would give this trip zero stars if I could. Worst sailing tour I have ever been on in 40 years of coming to Mexico and doing sailing tours. Boat is way too small for 45 people to sit comfortably. Buffet was horrible. Little variety. Only good thing was ice cream but paid extra for that. LONG walk from boat to beach. Played mostly Mexican and American rap music. Ugh!!! Further ruined the trip. Could have played a variety of music at least. Only good thing was the crew who kept the booze flowing. Miguel was very good guide. Isla Mujeres has become way too crowded to enjoy so skip it. This company obviously only cares about profit.

Scam! - We did not get what we paid for. I am not sure if this is catamaran company fault or the agent who sold us the tour. We booked the tour on the main street in Playa del Carmen, he offered us 4 choices for Isla Mujeres tour pointing out two which are more “exclusive” and “private”. We said straight away that we do not want to be with a big group so two choices were left, quite similar. When asked about the number of people per tour he said 15-20 max, there is better quality drinks offered, floaties, 2 and half hour on Isla Mujeres. The other tour which we realized later was also the same catamaran company with parasailing which ofc does not exist. There were quite a few pick ups so we arrived at pier in two hours from Playa del Carmen. We paid the rest on the spot. At this point we realized there is a lot of people waiting, we thought they might be going on another ship but no, 50-60 people boarded the same catamaran as us. It was so crowded!!! People were sitting everywhere, there was no safety procedures explained nor nothing. I do not think this kind of vessel is supposed to have this many people on it. As soon as we started speaking with other guests we realized that everybody got a different story (e.g. young people expecting party boat, people with kids expecting something more private etc.) They were passing with drinks quite a few times I guess to entertain people. The drinks were not lacking but they were not bringing the water at all. We had one stop for 30 min for snorkelling with comments that the weather was bad so only good swimmers. We did not got but heard from other people that there was nothing to see. We continued the journey and made a stop on the island for lunch which was an hour, so actually you cannot do anything except dine. Lunch was ok, nothing special. Afterwards we were left at the North beach for another hour, again, no time to explore the island. They give you braceletes for free tequila shots which is actually a scam to get the people inside the store so you buy stuff there. We asked the tour guide why are we not getting what we paid for and he was blaming the agency “they don’t know what they sell us” and when we confronted the agent “the boat operator gives them the tour, they are not responsible for what they do” “they never had this situation” etc. Do not expect to get your money back! We had one more stop for 10 minutes but again it was not recommnded to swim. I do not have to mention that there were no floaties. They also had a photographer who charged 15USD per picture which is quite expensive. And of course constant pushing for the tips. Overall, we took the best out of the situation, met some interesting people but just be aware what are you getting into.
