The Call of the Wild: Kolekole Falls

As a former extreme sports athlete, I’ve had my fair share of adrenaline-pumping experiences. But when I heard about the Hawaii Zipline over Kolekole Falls, I knew I had to experience it for myself. The Big Island of Hawaii, with its lush landscapes and cascading waterfalls, promised an adventure like no other.

The agricultural property was a tapestry of Apple Banana fields, Hawaiian Ginger, Pineapples, and Sugarcane, each adding to the rich tapestry of the island’s landscape. It was a reminder of the diverse beauty that Hawaii has to offer, beyond its famed beaches and surf.

The guides shared stories of the island’s history, of the ancient traditions that still echo through the land. It was a cultural immersion that complemented the thrill of the zipline, adding depth to the adventure.

As we made our way back to the Port of Hilo, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude. For the experiences that continue to push my boundaries, for the landscapes that take my breath away, and for the people who share in these adventures.
