En route to Zakopane, our journey will include a stopover in Chochołów, a village famous for its authentically preserved wooden architecture. The long-standing wooden structures, built by Polish highlanders, are still occupied by locals and are protected by UNESCO. As part of this experience, there’s an opportunity to explore one of these structures from the inside and appreciate the traditional way of life.
Following this, we will move onto a Bacowka, a traditional shepherd’s shelter, where you can sample the renowned local cheese Oscypek and observe its preparation process.
The Zakopane tour commences with a stunning panorama of the Tatra Mountains from the summit of Gubalowka Hill, accessible via a cable car ride. Subsequent attractions include a traditional bazaar and Krupowki Street which is lined with a variety of dining options, regional products and local stores, and souvenir shops.
Further, we will proceed to the Thermal Baths, reachable in half an hour. Here, you will have a generous three hours to indulge in relaxation, allowing for peace of heart and soul.
