M’Hamid - Day 1: Zagora - Erg Chigaga

Departure from Zagora around 13:00 by 4x4 towards Erg Chegaga through Tizi Anagame and Ben Selmane. Then you discover the desert taking off-road for 2 hours to reach the big dunes of Chigaga.

Arriving well before the sunset. Enjoy the campfire and star-gaze. Evening meal & breakfast included on both nights.

Day 2 : Explore Erg Chigaga Dunes Camel Ride

Erg Chigaga - Day 2 : Erg Chigaga Camel Ride

Day at leisure in the Sahara Desert. Camel-trek out from camp after breakfast and then walk to explore the tallest dunes. Lunch is included today. Possibly take a short ride out in the 4x4 before returning to camp in time for sunset. Overnight at camp once more.

Day 3 : Erg Chigaga Mhamid Tamgrout -Zagora

Tamgrout - Day 3 : Erg Chigaga Mhamid Zagora

Sunrise is a magical moment not to be missed. After enjoying your breakfast we will leave Chegaga toward Zagora, taking the direction of the last village in Draa Valley by another off-road. On our way back we will make a stop to visit the Koranic library in Tamagroute, Arrival in Zagoraaround noon.

The highlight was undoubtedly Erg Chigaga, where under the most beautiful desert sky, we experienced the warmth and wonder of the desert at the finest camp. In Taroudant, our stay at Dar Tourkia was nothing short of amazing, providing the perfect blend of comfort and charm. Girls' trip to Amazing Morroco - We were a group of 5 girls, from the US during Ramadan; this was our first time in Morroco. We started from Casablanca down to Zagora with many stops on the way down. We enjoyed the beauty of the Atlas mountains, wandered around Aït Benhaddou, and visited Zagora; the ATV tour was excellent, and the highlight of our trip was the night in the camp at Erg Chigaga with camel ride and climbing the dunes to see the sunset. Great food all the time. Younes was excellent and very patient with us. Next time I will come back with my family, highly recommended.

Incredible nature and friendly open minded people - I went on this trip togehter with 2 friends and came back with 10. The atmosphere and nature sourround you makes you connect easily and is definitely worth the distance of traveling. Thanks a lot to Idris you tought me al lot about his land and culture.

AMAZING TIME AND HOSPITALITY! - Me and my mate René from Germany first met Younes from couchsurfing. He hosted us with amazing hospitality, tasty foods, and beautiful house in Zagora. On the next day, we took one of his tour with 4×4 to Oasis, Moroccan Plates craftman, Sahara desert and ride the camel and got served Morrocan mint tea ( whiskey ;) ) In the evening, they served us a crazy massive portion of couscous and it was so yummy!! We wish we could have eaten all the couscous though but the portion was just so much for us! Haha During the couscous dinner, there was also a beautiful live traditional music show played just for us by Berber people (people from sahara desert). They also provided us with mattress in front of the tent and we laid down and enjoyed the evening under the stars after the dinner. What I love : the program, the friendliness, the super nice driver, the funny camel guy, and of course Younes' hospitality! Thanj you for making my first African continent trip unforgettable!!

Excellent desert experience from Agadir - We had an excellent experience of using the service of Younes in taking our family of five from Agadir to the desert dunes of the South of Morocco ( and back). Younes picked us up straight from the airport, and planned very effectively our 4 day experience. He was reliable, friendly, kindly sensitive to our vegetarian requirements and an excellent driver. The 4×4 car was fine, but not luxurious. Payment was straight forward; we partly paid before our arrival and the balance on-site. Overall, excellent.
