2 days to the Erg Chigaga Desert from Ouarzazate. A great opportunity to discover different fortified Kasbahs: Amezrou, then Draa Valley, in order to spend an overnight at the Nomadic Desert Camp. Day 1 OUARZAZATE - FOUM ZGUID - LAKE IRIQUI - ERG CHIGAGA DUNES (6 hours drive)
Foum Zguid - Departure in the morning direction to Erg Chigaga through Taznakht.
We will have lunch in Foum Zguid
Nationalpark D’Iriqui - and continue to dry salt Lake Iriqui and the dunes of Erg Chigaga.
Erg Chigaga - We´ll arrive at a camp with Berber tents in Chigaga, walking in the dunes to enjoy the sunset.
Dinner and overnight in the camp.
Day 2 ERG CHIGAGA DUNES - MHAMID - TAMEGROUT - ZAGORA - DRAA VALLEY - OUARZAZATE
M’Hamid - After breakfast, we will drive to M’hamid crossing 64 km through the dunes and oases of the Hamada desert.
Tamegroute - After M’hamid, we will stop at Tamegrout to visit the Koranic Library and the underground Kasbah.
Zagora - We arrive in Zagora around noon to have lunch
Ouarzazate - and continue through Draa Valley back to Ouarzazate.
