Phil has and “x Factor” - Phil and bob was best experience in York. Very informative, relatable humour. And overall Phil appeared a decent human being. Shame didn’t had cash in the end to tip it to show how good it was.

Phil and Bob - Fun, entertaining and informal. Phil was perfect as guide in all aspects -information about York history, jokes (not to cheesy, not outdated) and appear as honest and decent man. Experience way past dungeon experience.

5 Star Ghost Bus Tour - Frank 667 & Bob - Booked the ghost bus York tour for 19/03/24 at 6:30pm, it is a mix of everything ghost, ghoul & comedy and highly recommended, Frank-Stein is highly knowledgeable and really gets into character which made it even more enjoyable. I am sure he will remember Nick, if you do one thing book to go on this which you will not regret.

Bit ‘meh’ - Was with my sister (24 & 22), we knew going into it that it was a family friendly type tour.. but was a bit babyish. Didn’t find that we got our £20 worth - would rather get a normal bus and do it myself! Isaac Blood was what made this review 3 and not 2

Can’t recommend this tour 🤷‍♂️ - Can’t recommend this tour at all. From the outset the bus queuing was non-existent with a free for all when the bus turned up. The traffic in York is mad around the centre and the pick up point outside the Railway Station is totally unsuitable with all the roadworks which will last for many months. First come, first served means a rugby scrum - no staff member was present to marshall it. The tour guide was Isaac Blood (an Adrian Edmonton clone - not bad in itself but the delivery and tone of the commentary was not that funny and some of the ‘jokes’ were inappropriate for the many young children on the bus). The weather didn’t help as it was raining and not only did the windows leak but the audio commentary was often unintelligible on the upper floor, distorted by poor speaker quality and vibrations from the bus headlining. The bus is period for the purpose but I’m struggling to think of many positives here and don’t want to be unkind. Maybe the couple who sat at the front of the upper deck who left after we decamped at Stonegate for a 10 min street scene had the right idea - they didn’t return. It was sadly a cringeworthy tour and lasted 1 hour instead of the advertised 75 mins. To finish off the debacle, the tour terminated back at York Station instead of the advertised Exhibition Square near York Minster, where we had pre-booked a meal at a restaurant on that basis. As you might have guessed, the walk back up there resulted in getting completely soaked by the rain and it capped off the evening perfectly. Do yourselves a favour - don’t bother with this.

Don't call customer service. - Tour itself was reasonably good, but I had to call "customer service" who did not answer for 45 mins and I got charged £38 for the call. This is a terrible business practice, so who knows how else this company is going to rip you off.
