- Hook-A-Barra - It’s a barra bonanza! This 2.5 hour guided tour is the best of the best. It starts with a 1 hour Farm Tour, where you get to go behind the scenes at the Daintree Saltwater Barramundi Farm, to see how we grow and supply top quality produce to some of Australia’s finest restaurants. It takes you from our front gate, through to the baby barra ponds and growing ponds where you get to feed the barra and help check their weight and health.
Witness hand-harvesting of the iconic Barramundi by our experienced and professional team and then go and try to catch your own, at the big Barra Pond. Our crew are with you every step of the way to inform, illuminate and share their secret tips on how to land these big, silver beauties. Top it off with a gourmet tasting platter. Pond to Plate.

Fun with Barra - The fishing and farm experience was fantastic. Steve our guide had a wealth of information. He had so much knowledge and was happy to share it with us. The farm itself was very clean and well run. And as for the barramundi tasting plate we got, only one word comes to mind - DELICIOUS. It was a lot of fun and we both caught a number of Barra. Highly recommended.

Exciting and Unique Experience - Jo and I spent a couple of hours here having fun and building memories. Our "guillies" Mike and Edward were positive and very helpful. Steven, the manager, was professional and personable. We caught 9 Barra, all on top water with the largest 3 coming in at 92, 92, and 94 centimetres during a 2-hour "overcast" session. This is a great place to practice your top water casting and retrieve technique. It is also wonderful for the inexperienced angler. We can't say enough. We will be back.

Afternoon hooking Barra!! - What an awesome afternoon spent fishing & tasting barramundi!! Michaels tour of the farm was really informative and interesting. The kids loved catching Barra and all the crew were super friendly. Food was delicious also! Definitely recommend.

Barradise - We had a great morning at hook-a- barra and were well looked after by the team. Great family activity and a must if you want to hook that elusive Barramundi. Biggest was caught by the young fella at 93cm.
The team are very knowledgeable with a shout out to Pryce for his informative farm tour.
We will be back up with friends

Wonderful day out… - What a wonderful day to spend my birthday. Farm tour was so informative. Our guide Steve was brilliant. We the. Had the Barra tasting plates which were so tasty. Then loved the fishing. No trophy big Barra for me. But caught 3 beauties around 50 cm.. A wonderful 2 1/2 hours. Thanks team Hook- a- Barra the whole team were brilliant even the young fellas like Eddie and Michael who helped with the fish.😁😁👍

Hook a Barra at Wonga - Great experience. Highly recommended with our guide Adam, being very knowledgeable and helpful.
The food tasting was excellent and perfectly highlighted the quality product that this farm produces.

What a great experience! - Thank you Simon & Steve for making my husbands day! This experience was absolutely amazing, lots of fishing activity, knowledge & fun.
They were absolutely amazing with tips & tricks on catching the barramundi.
Was great to have everyone fishing all together, cheering each other on.
