Action packed day tour - Great day in Wellington on a small group tour shore excursion! Peter was a wealth of information. We packed in so many sights that we never could have seen on a ship shore excursion. Highlights were Weta Workshop, the cable car ride, the beautiful architecture and views from lookout points. Thanks for the great day!

Excellent tour. Great for cruise passengers. - If you are on a cruise ship suggest you do this one instead of the ones from the cruise line. One it is all day so you see a lot more areas surrounding Wellington. Also the Lord of the Ring production and design company is a lot more then just LOTR regarding movie special effects. Excellent tour.

Great option for those on cruise ships - This is a great tour that covers a lot of things over the course of the day in Wellington. Our guide met us as we got off our cruise ship and even with a condensed schedule (due to changes in our time in port), he was able to get pretty much everything on the itinerary done and got us back to the ship just in time.

Wonderful day in Wellington - Dion was an excellent tour guide taking us through his beloved Wellington. He was filled with more than historical information but lots of personal anecdotes about the lovely city. We drove many miles around the city and felt we got a very good feel for Wellington on a lovely day after a stormy night at sea. We would highly recommend the all-day tour.

Full day touring Wellington is more time than needed - Wellington, NZ is a bit underwhelming. We made it to all the listed stops but it could be done in 4-hours. The included Weta workshop tour was worthwhile and fortunately guided by a Weta employee. It was cold and windy during our visit to Mt. Victoria so we didn't stay long.

The Driver was not a great guide. He left 2 people after our first stop. I realized it and told him. We had already left - Our driver left 2 people after our first stop. I had to tell him To go back. He let us out at one stop on the side traffic was racing by. It wasn’t safe. I had to tell him every time to turn on his microphone. He hadn’t driven a manual transmission in 30 years and our bus was manual transmission. He stalled several times. The stop he took us to for lunch ( which was not included) was terrible And was the only option we got peanuts, bananas and a drink at a store across the street.
