This tour provides you with extensive insight into the lives of the presidents in Washington D.C.

The desire to be in proximity to power has always centered around immersing oneself in the environments close to the White House since the city’s origin.

You’ll visit Lafayette Square and the Foggy Bottom neighborhood. Discover the residences and structures that encapsulated the lifetimes of presidents – right from their dwelling, workspaces, social circles, strategic planning stations, and prayer houses – before, while, and after their presidential tenures. You’ll lay your eyes on some of the city’s oldest architectures and savour the spectacle of one of the world’s renowned public zones.

And remember, the stories are the gems of this tour. Our guide will narrate the city’s construction journey and the British attempt in 1814 to demolish it. The tales cover a range from high-society dramas, gunfights in Pennsylvania Avenue, slaves’ struggle for independence and a lot more.

Fun and informative - even for locals - Chris was engaging and knowledgeable! Lovely tour and learned about buildings that we've walked past many a time without exploring their past.

Extremely professional, knowledgeable and entertaining tour! - Chris was great at keeping all members of our group entertained with stories of past presidents and historic buildings within a manageable number of blocks. Communication was excellent from before booking and remained strong as we changed the schedule to miss a thunderstorm. Anyone with an interest in American history (and in particular presidents) should do this tour. Price is extremely reasonable considering the knowledge and experience provided. Thanks Chris, from the group of Aussies!

Chris was a wealth of... - Chris was a wealth of knowledge about the history of the presidents. What we saw was awesome, but there was a lot of walking past the modern city to get to the few historic buildings. Our favorite part was the thwarted assassination attempt on President Truman's life. None of us had ever heard this story. Thank you!

Great tour filled with fun and funny info! - Chris was a great guide & was super friendly and entertaining! He was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience very enjoyable. We loved getting the inside scoop about former presidents and hearing stories that are not well known. The info about Andrew Jackson being a bit of a "psycho" was probably my favorite! So funny and realistic!
