Your tour guide is a former journalist and stand-up comic with a deep fascination for the presidents. Chris White has visited just about every presidential birthplace, residence, and grave within the nation.

Typically, the tour leaves at either 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. Please ensure you check the departure time prior to finalizing your booking.

Excellent Historical Walking Tour - Chris is a friendly, deeply knowledgeable and humorous guide. He is flexible and responsive to our individual interests. He made sure all our questions were answered and that was easy for him, because he has a professor's level knowledge of the presidents' lives. The touring area is beautiful, with plenty of interesting extra bonuses (like gorgeous gardens and interesting activities around the former presidential homes, some of which are now embassies). We came away from the tour hoping to see Chris again, perhaps on the DC stage performing comedy!

“Residences of the Presidentses” a Local Business - Chris is very knowledgeable as well as personable. We learned a significant amount of information, and saw many Interesting and historical presidential homes, as well as other local historical sites. He takes you directly to places where history happened! We highly recommend this tour! (And we already are doing so to family and friends). DLB

Must do tour!! - Chris was fabulous. I THOUGHT I knew the area and subject matter, and yet he highlighted and illuminated countless facts and anecdotes unknown to any of us. His personal enthusiasm and well researched grasp of the subject made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Not only do I highly recommend this tour, but will personally be “journeying” with him again myself on his other tour offerings!
