• Walvis Bay Waterfront - The Catamaran Cruise sets sail at 08:30 from the Waterfront and returns around 12:00. Along the way, passengers will see pelicans, seals, and often dolphins. On a fortunate day, there might be sightings of the Sunfish (Mola Mola) and even whales during the whaling season. Pelicans sometimes fly very close, and some may even land on the Catamaran. The cruise stops at the seal colony to view the impressive 50,000-strong seal population from the sea. Sammy the seal frequently jumps onto the back of the Catamaran, offering a great photo opportunity. Snacks such as sherry, beer, coffee, light finger foods, and oysters are served on board. • Walvis Bay Esplanade - From the Waterfront, the tour proceeds to the Esplanade, stopping at the Pink Flamingos. The air is let out of the tires before continuing past the pink salt lakes onto the windswept shore, where many birds, seals, and even black-backed jackals can be seen on the way south to Sandwich Harbor.
• Sandwich Harbour - The journey continues south along the beach for 60 km, encountering a variety of bird species, both migratory and resident, including flamingos, pelicans, avocets, terns, and more. The tour enters the Namib Naukluft Park and reaches the towering dunes of Sandwich Harbor. The drive along the Lange Wand, where the sea meets the dunes, offers a narrow strip of beach to travel on, creating a unique and breathtaking experience. Tide timing is crucial. The dune views are stunning, and the ride to the viewpoint is like a rollercoaster, revealing the most beautiful sight: SANDWICH HARBOR, a bay with a lagoon, is incredibly beautiful. After enjoying the magnificent dune views, the tour heads back through the dunes. The dune drive includes various viewpoints and short dune walks, which are absolutely amazing. A light lunch is enjoyed at a scenic spot along the route. The tour also includes a small game drive to search for desert wildlife. The return journey follows the same beach route back to Walvis Bay.

• please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show
