Embark on a two-hour journey to the illustrious summer abode and gardens once inhabited by the royal family. Be transported to a period of grandeur as you traverse the awe-inspiring display rooms, wander around the stunning baroque gardens, and experience a regal persona for a while. Your guide will help you bypass the long queue to the palace, a celebrated World Heritage Site and one of Austria’s most frequented destinations. In 2018, the palace welcomed 4 million visitors. To ensure an unhindered experience, headphones will be provided to listen to the guide without disruption.

Our tour of the palace and the garden will start at the Ehrenhofbrunnen, that is the first fountain on your right side after you will enter through the big black gate to the grounds of the Schönbrunnpalace. Please look for the tour guide holding a green umbrella. Please be at the meetup location 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled meet up time.

Recommended tour - Great tour and a great tour guide. We had plenty of time to walk through the palace. Go in the morning. It gets very crowded. I would love to see the gardens in the spring.

A tour worth its' weight in gold. - This was an excellent tour of this beautiful palace ruled by the Habsburg family dynasty. Our tour guide (who I believe went by Billie) was awesome! She was very knowledgeable on the history of the palace and the Habsburgs who ruled from it. She also combined knowledge with humor to make it a very insightful and enjoyable learning experience. Great value and a 10/10 rating for a tour worth its' weight in Austro-Hungarian gold! 🪙

Must do tour of the Palace - Our family took this tour on 14th March 2024 and Billy was our guide. Tour was in Eng and there were approx 18 people in our group. Easy to find the meeting spot and the tour guide. Billy explained what the process was, got us setup with audio headphones and off we went. The palace was amazing and so was Billy - she covered off all the key points, was intereactive with the group, gave us time for pictures in the rooms and covered the history of the Royals too. Finally we had time to explore the gardens at our leisure with instructions on where to go. You could spend an entire day in the gardens as they are vast and have many different sections. Very happy with this tour and our guide Billy. Thank you.

Visiting the Palace - The palace tour was wonderful. Our tour guide met us at the entrance and the tour started on time. The tour guide gave us headphones so we could hear her during the tour.
