Excellent choice - We visited lots of museums and places of interest. Most of the places we didn’t have got wait in line. We used this card very extensively. In general Hop on hop off bus is not a very efficient and interesting experience. But the rest of the card is well worth it. Highly recommend it.

Vienna pass - Vienna pass was a little challenging as the attractions are spread out and the hop on hop off bus is rather clumsy. We also bought a 72 hour travel pass. It was financially worth it though if you are interested in seeing all the main attractions. You didn't need to queue for tickets and this was a bonus.

Good value but make sure to plan ahead - Very good value with lots of attraction passes. We did the two day pass and in a couple of hours realized that we needed more time. Tried to add an extra day but couldn't because we had already started. Very disappointed in this as it was not made clear at anytime.

Worth it for longer stays - We bought a six day pass for three adults. This cost 170 Euros each. I kept a running total of how much we would have spent if we'd paid individually for all the attractions we'd visited using the pass and the grand total was 345 Euros each (give or take a couple of Euros). So, from this point of view I'd have to say it was very good value. If you are only buying a pass for 1 or 2 days I would say that it would be difficult to break even. The most value you can get is if you spend the day at Schönbrunn Palace and start the day early there to get a time slot for the grand tour. The real beauty of the pass for us was that we tried things that we wouldn't have done if we had had to pay for the attraction individually. Madam Tussauds for example, we had no interest in, but we went anyway and ended up having a great time. The same thing also for Danube park and Prater, we may not have even visited these areas if we didn't have the pass, yet the day we spent doing this was one of the highlights of the holiday. On the downside, we were unable to take the cruise as the day we went to the cruise office all tours were cancelled that were included in the pass - and they couldn't tell us when the cruise *would* run so we decided not to waste time on it, but to see other attractions instead. Another downside was that despite us having a 6 day pass and checking the availability of the opera house tour as soon as we received the instructions of how to book online there was no availability at all within the 6 day window. We picked up the passes from the Vienna Pass office, and they gave us the guide book and a paper sheet explaining which items needed to be booked in advance, how to get tickets/time slot for the Schönbrunn Grand Tour, etc, so they do seem to have improved in this respect, perhaps on the basis of some of the previous reviews. We found the guidebook extremely useful, as a small handbag sized reference to the available attractions when we were out and about and also for planning the next day. The hop-on hop-off buses were good - we hadn't really expected to make much use of them but ended up doing circular tours on all the services available - the blue, yellow, red and the lesser-spotted once an hour green line, as well as using them a few times to travel between attractions. (A travel pass for Vienna is invaluable as well and can be bought on the WienMobil travel app and can be used to get to most of the attractions more quickly than using the hop-on hop-off buses if you are in a rush - it's about 17 Euro for a week pass (the week pass and the 72 hour pass cost the same!)). Here's a quick list of some of the attractions we visited Schönbrunn Palace - all the attractions on the pass bar the Zoo Belvedere Palace - Upper and Lower (get there early and start at Upper Belvedere to avoid queues) Praterzug Donau Park Bahn Donauturm (my favourite attraction) Madam Tussauds Albertina Ferris Wheel Sisi Museum (really loved this attraction) Kunsthistorisches Museum Mozarthaus House of Music Mumok (not great) Leopold Museum Sigmund Freud House Theatre Museum (not much there - glad we didn't pay for it individually)

Yellow bus - average - The yellow bus hop on hop off tour was okay. The route through the city was good but the commentary was not very clear and difficult to follow.

Easy transport - This was great to get you where you want to go for an extended amount of time, but for 1 day it was not great. We went to 4 places within 8 hours. Extended amount would have been great! If you arrive via air even better as it gives you transportation to and from airport.

Not Really Worth It - Think carefully before buying. Our pass worked fine for two days, but on the morning of the third day, it suddenly started working, and we were told it has expired. This was at the Ferris Wheel, so we paid anyway since we had made the journey. We had just gotten to the amount where we had broken even on the tickers. I don’t know it it was coincidental. I do know we had used it for only 50 out of supposedly 72 hours. The bus was crowded and late. Communication was poor both by the driver and on the headsets.

Don't hop on hop off - We found the Vienna pass of some value but the hop on hop off bus tour is very disappointing. Very little information, hard to hear and buses stuck in traffic.

Tried to cancel and sent 2 emails with no answer I do not recommend such a long and binding pass. It is expensive also - I vacilated with the idea of purchasing a pass and bus ride for 3 days and for over 300 dollars. I intented to do some comparison but I was not able to do so. I, therefore, decided to purchase this passs. I never got to use it and when I wanted to cancel Aviator, the tour operations manager, did not respond to my emails. I tried to get the refund from Paypal and still waiting. If I am phased with this type of product, I would rather go for the museums and pay for these other days. I do not recommend at all these expensive package.
