Highly recommended! - Carlo was a fantastic host. He was so knowledgeable about the wines we were tasting and also a great guide to Veronese food and drink in general. Everyone visiting Verona should spend time with him!

Charming! - My husband and I attended a wine tasting, the restaurant was super cozy, a romantic atmosphere, top-notch attention from the staff!! The pairing tasting was excellent attended by a girl who speaks English and Spanish.

A most enjoyable experience and highly recommended. - We had a wonderful evening tasting and learning about local wine. Our host was incredibly knowledgable and willing engaged in conversations and questions we had. The snacks were delicious and all local produce. We left feeling that we had a better understanding of the wine in the region and have a much better chance at picking out a nice bottle in a wine shop! It was definitely a highlight of our trip. Amazing Wine Tasting Experience - Carlo was amazing! Not only you get to learn and taste the wines of the region, but you also get the history of the region and environment that makes up how the wines are made and came about. Truly a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it,

A good experience, but deceiving description. - We booked this wine tasting as the description made it seem as though you could have a wine tasting in their wine cellar. However, when we arrived we were taken to the side of the restaurant, next to the road and were sort of left standing until our guide came over to introduce himself. We were then poured 4 very small glasses of wine, and none of the bottles were left for us to see what we were drinking, and the guide himself wasn't too sure on which bottle it was. We were paired with a Brazilian couple, who were obviously very big wine drinkers, and they didn't seem very impressed with the small sampling. There was also a language barrier, and the description does say the tour can be in Italian and English, but then also says Spanish and English, so they did struggle to understand some parts. We did get a lot out of this tasting, as we wanted to use this experience to sample some red wines, and even had an extra glass of a more expensive red to taste the difference (at an extra cost). We did come away with more knowledge, but as this was our first tour, we didn't have any expectations, but I would say that it would not be for people who have done several tastings. Also, we were then shown the 'canteen', not cellar as advertised, which does not match any of the photos listed above. We were also informed that tastings only really happen down there when there are 10 people, not a choice as stated. Overall, I did have a good time and our guide was great, but the description of the tasting definitely needs amending to what is actually offered.

Not worth money - Just wasn’t good enough for money. Host was knowledgeable and friendly. Another couple with us were lovely and made the experience. They were really nice and good company and we shared a bottle with them afterwards. We weren’t in a cellar, we were in restaurant at a normal table. It was just short of an hour with four wine tastings and a tiny amount of food to accompany the tastes. Wine was nice. Didn’t feel like any other wine tasting session I’ve been to and I didn’t particularly leave with masses information. Very grateful to other couple who made it an experience. Wouldn’t do again or recommend. Seems like the best bet is to actually go out to a vineyard and get a real experience

Dissapointed - Unfortunately we were very dissapointed with this tour. We were the only ones booked and maybe that affected our experience, maybe thats why they didn’t give it all in, but we are paying just as much as everyone else so it shouldn’t. The photos did not do the justice we were sitted at the restaurant upstairs, not underground cellar and some staff member came and poured very little wine to four glasses and then left so we didn’t have the bottles to see what we were drinking and we just got little information about the type of the wines and that was it. We are wine lovers and always go on many winery’s and tours so compared to what we paid this was not worth it. No jugdment to the guide though she was lovely and tried to make something out of this. In the end we would have gotten more out of going to that restaurant and gotten our selves some wine glasses and made our own tasting for lesser money.
