- Dasaswamedh Ghat - The journey begins with a boat ride from Dashashwamedh Ghat, lasting approximately 2 hours. During this time, participants will witness the Manikarnika Ghat cremation ground, observe people bathing in the sacred Ganges River, and view other ghats such as Dashashwamedh Ghat, Harishchandra Ghat, and Assi Ghat.

- Sarnath - Following the boat ride, the next stop is the Sarnath Buddhist Temple, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after achieving enlightenment in Bodh Gaya. This visit, including travel time, will take around 3 hours.
- Banaras Hindu University - After exploring Sarnath, the tour continues to the Banaras Hindu University Birla Temple.
- Sankat Mochan Temple - The next destination is the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, following the visit to Banaras Hindu University Birla Temple.
- Tulsi Manas Temple - The journey proceeds to the Tulsi Manas Temple after visiting the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple.
- Durga Temple - The next stop is the Durga Temple, following the visit to Tulsi Manas Temple.
- Thatheri Bazar - After the temple visits, there will be a walking tour through the historic streets of old Banaras.
- Manikarnika Ghat - Participants will have the opportunity to observe the cremation rituals at Manikarnika Ghat.
- Ganga Aarti - The day concludes with the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, following the walking tour.

Excellent tour guide in Varanasi - Monu was an excellent tour guide. I really had a good time with him in Varanasi. He's very knowlegeable and a kind person. On the next day I even brought more friends to do another tour with him. I really recommend his work. Happy 100 reviews, Monu!

Excellent tour guide, great English, Highly recommended 10/10 - Monu was very professional. We contacted him on the off chance as we were already in India and were looking to visit Varanasi but had a very tight window due to flights. I messaged him and had a speedy reply and he arranged to collect us from the airport do a walking tour and take us back to the airport. I cannot recommend him enough his English was excellent and he showed us places that we would never of gone too or known about, this is due to him being born in Varanasi and having lots of contacts.

Varanasi with a personal touch - We saw things with Monu we would never have seen in our own. On top of this Monu was so informative and open we learnt things about the place and the people that were insightful. He is a generous guide going the extra mile. Our time with Monu was a highlight of our 3 weeks in India.

A very interesting trip - We had a great tour with Monu who speaks excellent English and has a very calm presence which is vital in the heat and bustle of Varanasi. Monu grew up in the old town and took us on a tour of the alleys, the flower market, a famous sweet shop, temples and a mosque, the cremation ground and the ghats. We really enjoyed our trip with him and would highly recommend him for a thorough understanding of the way of life and culture of Varanasi.

An Unforgettable Experience in Varanasi – Thanks to the Amazing Guide!
I had the privilege of exploring Varanasi with Monu and it was truly one of the most enriching and soulful travel experiences I’ve ever had.
From the sacred ghats to the winding alleyways of the old city, he brought the history, spirituality, and everyday life of Varanasi to life with deep knowledge and heartfelt storytelling. He was incredibly respectful of the culture and rituals, especially during the cremation ceremonies, and made sure we experienced the city both as observers and participants.
If you’re visiting Varanasi, I can’t recommend him enough. Don’t just see the city – feel it, through the eyes of someone who truly understands it.

Truly Exceptional Tour - My private tour with Monu in Varanasi was truly exceptional. Not only did he possess extensive knowledge of the city's rich history and cultural heritage, but he also expertly curated an itinerary that allowed me to experience the most spectacular sights and sounds in just one day. His passion and enthusiasm for the city were truly contagious and made the tour even more enjoyable. Monu went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and safety, and his valuable insights and recommendations made my experience in Varanasi truly unforgettable. The highlight of the trip was his kind invitation to dinner with his lovely family. His wife is an exceptional cook and his mother has a heart of gold, making the evening one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I cannot recommend Monu highly enough to anyone looking for a personalized and unforgettable tour of Varanasi, especially if you are a solo female traveler with Monu you will feel safe and see the most.

A peek into the past.. - Varanasi/Benaras/Kashi... We may call it by different names,but to understand the essence of Varanasi one has to mingle with the locals. It is considered one of the oldest cities of the world. We stayed in hotel Sri Balaji,near Kaal Bhairav Temple, we stayed there for three nights and each day we toured the city by walking the old bylanes and it was a wonderful experience ,it was like time travel. The main attractions of Varanasi are Renovated Kashi Vishwanath temple, kaal bhairav ,Mata aanapurna temple, Vishalaxmi temple(one of the 51 peetas of sati) 84 Ghats , Sankatmochan ,Sarnath,and many renowned eateries (famous chaats).Many people also visit Vindhyachal to visit vidheshwari mata(Around 70KMS from Varanasi).
Tourists also go to Gaya /Bodh Gaya which is around 5 Hours drive from Varanasi..
The best mode of transport in Varanasi is by foot or by TOTo (e-rickshaw) and cycle rickshaw as most of the roads are narrow and are full of traffic. My suggestion to any traveller who is coming by his own vehicle should park his vehicle in the hotel and travel by the local mode of transport.

A fantastic taste of Varanasi - Monu guided us through a walking tour of Varanasi and it was byfar the best way to get to know the city! He did a great job of giving us a taste of the less-traversed parts of the city and explaining the significance of the sights we saw. Highly recommend!
